I have had 2 other charging devices with retractable cables in the past. They both worked ok for a little while until they didn't. I didn't get a "new" one for several years. Not because the first ones were still working because they weren't, but because I figured it was a bad idea to get another one. Then, I saw this. It was an accident that I came across it. I looked at it and looked at it. I read the reviews. I went back and forth trying to decide if I should give it a try.Eventually I pulled the trigger and ordered one. It came and I ripped open the package and out came this gigantic thing. It seemed kind of heavy (in the well made kind of heavy) and yet neat looking at the same time. I plugged it into the outlet and it came to life. It showed me how many volts my vehicle battery had. It has 2 cables that tuck nicely into the charging housing when retracted. A USB C and a Lightening Cable. It also has a USB outlet available. I tugged the Lightening cable out to plug into my iPhone. it was nice and smooth. It entered my phone and started charging. How fast did it charge? I don't know. I never looked at the battery percentage and then timed how long it took to charge it. I'm one of those weirdos who likes to keep the phone battery topped off. I know, not good for the battery. Too old to change now. Regardless, I noticed there were several stop options for how much cable comes out. You give it a quick but gentle tug and it retracts nicely. I really like it.But didn't I say it was gigantic? Yea I did and it is pretty good sized. But with 2 retractable cables, a USB port and a volt meter it's not as bad as one might think. I have a car where the the charge hole is kind of deep behind the gear shift and the enormity of this actually helps get the retracted cables into a position where you can grab them easier. I like that I don't have loose cables laying all over the place. If this thing lasts, I'm going to buy one for every vehicle I own and for every vehicle owned by members of my family. I hope the mechanism that retracts the cables lasts. I imagine I will have a part to play in that with how I use it. If I don't do a lot of yanking on it (like trying to start a lawnmower) it should last. I've had it about a month now and use it multiple times a day. I'll update as time goes on.Would I recommend it? I would.Value for the money? It depends on how long it lasts. Do you NEED one? No. Do you want one? Probably and that's why someone made it.Bottom line: I really like it and am pleased with it's performance.

This thing works exactly as advertised and I really like the voltmeter so I can keep an eye on my alternator and battery performance in real time considering the fact that I have quite a few accesories hooked up in my car. It charges my Iphone 13 VERY fast and I can use it to charge and/or power multiple devices at the same time (may or may not be the best idea for my battery/charging system lol) .The only thing I dont like is the fact that it is HUGE , so I can BARELY plug it in next to any other plugs in the 3 way splitter I am using. I think that if you are using this alone in the vehicle power socket, it might not be as hard to fit it in the space you have available. I am currently in the process of hardwiring some of my devices so that may help with the size issue. In this case, size definitely DOES matter :).Overall, this charger was a very good purchase and is woth the money for sure!

I have an older car and the voltage display was one of the reasons I bought this version. I like to be able to see the alternator is working and the draw the car is running at the time. The charging speed is great, size and maneuverability of the device is nice, overall a nice unit. Here's hoping to a long lasting wire management spool and not a mess of wire spaghetti.

Bought this for my car because I needed one to accommodate my daughter and my cell phone because she has an apple and I have an Android. Love that this has both charger chords already included in the device and the cords retract into the device so it's awesome. Very lightweight product that easily plugs into the carport and can be used as needed. Highly recommend for anyone who has teenagers!

In terms of working, it works, it looks good, it's not fast charging as expected, it charges the cell phone at an average speed, my only problem is that it's too thick, I had to put it in the center compartment because on the outside it blocked me and I couldn't shift the gears, otherwise, I see the price considerable.

Works great, charges fast. I've had it for over 6 months now and I haven't had any problems with it. Cords pull out and retract smoothly, I've never had them lock up or get twisted up.

this is so handy. I love that they all retract. it is a little bulky but it charges well and stays in the plug. only issue was i got this for my nephew but his new car only had usb ports and not a cigarette lighter to use this.

It charges my phone quickly and the retractable cord is very useful and slick. I would definitely buy again without question.
