This 13.75" long crevice tool works well with my SHOP-VAC
I purchased this Broan-NuTone long crevice tool not for use with a floor vacuum but, rather, to expand the accessory options of my two SHOP-VAC wet/dry vacuums having 1.25” hose diameters.I already have a SHOP-VAC 90616 Crevice Tool that came included with one of my wet/dry vacuum models but that nozzle measures only 7.25” long. That short length is usually sufficient, especially when working in more confined spaces where using any additional length would be awkward and cumbersome such as when manipulating the hose underneath a car seat, but I do occasionally require a longer nozzle length. Therefore, I purchased the SHOP-VAC 91996 1.5” Crevice Tool, which measures a bit longer at 10” and also came included with a 1.25” hose adapter, so I can use it with my vacs. However, I sometimes wish I had even more nozzle length so I went ahead and purchased this Broan-NuTone CT110 long crevice tool which measures 13.75” long.I’ve test fit this Broan-NuTone CT110 to the 1.25” hose diameter of both my 10-gallon and 12-gallon Shop-Vacs and I’m pleased to say that it fits them just perfectly… nice and snug with no slippage during use. Some other reviewers have noted that this tool is constructed of “cheap and thin” plastic but I disagree with that observation. I’m a pretty fussy and hypercritical consumer, and this tool seems fairly well-made and durable. It’s nice and rigid and doesn’t flex like it’s going to somehow break while I’m using it. When comparing it side-by-side to my two other SHOP-VAC crevice tools, I find that the plastic thickness does appear to be just the slightest bit thinner but the difference is very insignificant. Even so, the plastic construction of this long nozzle seems quite durable and not flimsy or junky at all. Honestly, it looks and feels just like any other halfway-decent crevice tool typically found included with most new floor vacuums. Used properly, the nozzle tip doesn’t seem like it will be exceptionally prone to eventual splitting or cracking, like so many of the other cheaper crevice tools I’ve used throughout the years. So far, it’s worked just fine for me and I have no complaints about it whatsoever.Look, here’s the deal. This thing is a crevice tool and a fine one at that. It’s not meant to be used continuously as some sort of substitute for an actual floor nozzle (like a vacuum sweeper). It’s simply meant to be used to extend one’s reach or access to tight spaces. In that regard, this thing is robust enough to perform such tasks brilliantly. It’s not a friggin’ baseball bat. Yes, it’s probably going to crack if a person of average weight accidentally steps onto it, or you overwork it, or you flail it around like a darn monkey. But if used “normally” and as intended, rather than manhandling or being too rough with this tool, then I see absolutely no reason why it shouldn’t serve you well for a very long period of time. The suction power of this CT110 is typical and satisfactory, just like any other comparable crevice tool of this size. I use this tool to vacuum dirt and dust particles--not pick up a bowling ball!--and it performs that function great. Keep in mind, though, that suction power will depend on the overall power of your vacuum motor itself. If you have a wimpy vacuum, you’re also going to have wimpy suction. That’s not the fault of the attachment. The nozzle tip opening measures 1-1/8” long by 3/8” wide. That’s slightly larger than the SHOP-VAC 90616 and 90179 nozzles which both measure slightly smaller at 1” long by 5/16” wide. This CT110 nozzle is identified as being ‘Made in China’. I wish that wasn’t the case, but what else is new? That’s good ‘ole globalization for ya. Comparing it to the older Made in USA plastic SHOP-VAC attachments, there’s surprisingly not much difference. Made in China doesn’t always mean bad, and Made in USA doesn’t always mean good.I’ve attached a side-by-side comparison photo of the three crevice tools mentioned in this review, with their order noted as following: Shop-Vac 90616 Crevice Tool (top), Broan-NuTone CT110 Long Crevice Tool (middle), SHOP-VAC 90179 Flexible Flat Crevice Tool (bottom). In summary, I’m very pleased with my purchase of this Broan-NuTone CT110. It’s nice to have a long, rigid crevice tool like this one and both the quality and price make it a great value.

Fits my shop vac
I purchased a small shop vac with no crevice tool. This fits my vac and comes in handy when cleaning my car.

It fits my kenmore vac
Good value. Easy to attach, stays on wand, multiple uses. Haven’t had it long but I’m sure it’s durable.Works well on baseboards, dryer, etc.

Good quality, a bit too tight on some devices
Bought this as a replacement for my missing wand on a Dewalt 3 gal 20V portable vac. This piece has less of an angle on it than my original. I prefer a bit more angled pickup , so I'll probably modify the angle at some point. It was extremely tight fit. I managed to get it engaged enough that I could use it, but will probably end up filing the inside down for an easier fit. The original piece, which I misplaced, seemed to have a tapered entry and I liked it very much.It is also much longer than my original piece. I bought 2 of these, so I'll probably shave one down to a shorter size as well, for tight spots in the car.I would still recommend this and would buy it again. The price was decent.Delivery was fast from seller Tidy Vacuums .

Perfect fit
This attachment works great to get those hard to reach areas around and under car seats. It fits my vacuum perfectly and the extra length makes cleaning easy.

Just the answer
Just the answer I needed.I always clean my clothes dryer filter. Even so, over time, lint accumulates underthe bottom of the filter. It has, in the past, built up enough where I would use a 12" tweezersto reach down and try to remove as much built up lint as possible. It never, ever got all of it out.Decided to buy/try this nozzle. Well folks, works like a charm. That lower area isalmost as clean as when the dryer was new.I highly recommend it. Just be sure the nozzle connecting end and your vac hosewill work together.

Perfect fit
I wasn't sure if the would be a suitable replacement for the crevice tool that I lost for my Riccar upright vacuum but it fits perfectly and snaps right into the side holder.
