The first was awatch. My business casual work clothes do not all ...
I am editing this review to add a big positive to Striiv customer service. My charger stopped clipping to the tracker. It would just fall off again. I opened a support ticket and within 15 minutes had a response asking me to detail my problem. I was then asked to provide close up pictures of the tracker, with samples to show me exactly what areas they wanted to look at. The pictures revealed a chip on the side of the tracker (which at this point is 7 months old.) With no mention that my own rough handling may have caused the damage I was told to ship my tracker back for a replacement. It was a total of 2 hours from when I opened the support ticket till I was told to send it back. My new tracker (tracker only, no strap, charger, etc which they had told me to hold on to my original ones) arrived today. Total cost to me was $2.87 to send it back.I had two needs when looking for an activity tracker. The first was a watch. My business casual work clothes do not all have pockets, so carrying my cell phone discreetly to use it to tell time was not practical. My second need was for an "accurate" pedometer to measure distance. One of my hobbies is birding and I want to know my distance covered on bird walks. Because I never used a tracker before I didn't want to spend big bucks for a Fitbit Alta or the Garmin Viofit3, both of which have watches and are, to my mind, much nicer looking. So, after much reading of reviews I decided to go with the Strivv, and to keep the cost of my first tracker low, the fusion lite.First the postives. Despite what some reviewers have said, I find the band easy to put on. Although I don't keep it synched to my phone, the few times I did it responded to calls with a gentle double buzz and then the caller ID. Enough to get my attention but not noticeable to anyone else. The battery life is what Striiv stated. I found reviewers harping on the fact that their trackers weren't making it to five days. Striiv literature states to expect two and a half to five days depending on whether or not the tracker is synched to your phone, or used for tracking sleep. Since I rarely synch to my phone and don't use it for sleep, I am getting five days on a charge. Now the negative. These "negatives" are purely subjective, just my opinion. I prefer a buckle type closure to the two prong approach, but I as I said, I have no problem using the prongs. I would prefer a smaller display bar. The one on the Striiv is so long that it covers my wrist from side to side. It may not bother others, but those with small wrist may want to look at other models. For this reason I don't try and track my sleep with it. It is too uncomfortable to sleep with it on. Finally, I would like a better choice of colors for the wrist bands.Conclusion. For the money I find the fusion lite deserves five stars. It delivers what is promised. Although I listed what I felt were negatives, they were negatives that I was aware of before buying it, therefore should not factor into the stars.

Failures and virtues of the Striiv light
I sometimes have a difficult time waking this device up to view the face. It can be hard to put on my wrist since the holes have to be perfectly aligned and pressed into place on soft flesh and not on a firm surface. It also usually has to be charged ever other day. In bright light as when I exercise outdoors the face is invisible which is a down. However the price was right at $41 and it does do what I want it to which is count steps. Another plus is because it is connected to Bluetooth it warns me by vibrating that a call is coming in and who the call is from. That is a real plus when your cell phone is in another room and you can't hear it.

Good price for a basic tracker
The price for this tracker is good for what it is. It tracks steps, calories (from steps, not exercise), and a few other items. The battery life for me so far has been about 2 days. Not nearly the 5 days that they say it CAN last. Overall a good tracker though, and doubles as a watch.

if you are looking for a inexpensive band and watch this is great! And it also syncs with Viverae
I originally gave this band 4 stars but after having it a few months its now down to 3! The band is ok but I have to constantly charge it. I also have to constantly sync it to my iphone. However, if you are looking for a inexpensive band and watch this is great! And it also syncs with Viverae.

Does not last long
I used this most of the day, during all of my day activities. I'm especially active on weekends, running, biking, beach/indoor volleyball. However, after 6 months the device started malfunctioning. I had another brand tracker previously and that one did not last a year either. It seems these are made for those people starting to get active and are not too rigorous in sports or outdoor activities, as they don't have much durability or a long life span.

Easy to set up and use
Easy to set up and use. I have been using the tracking a few days now, the battery only lasts about 3 to 4 days verses the 5 stated but it does alert you to low battery.

It was okay.
This product needs to be charged too often. It didn't always sync well with my phone. When it did work, it worked fine but it's definitely not on par with the more expensive, fancier models out there.
