I purchased these so I could give one to my 10-year-old granddaughter, sister, and a friend's daughter. They are easy to use and are very loud. I would recommend these to anyone who has a young child. It is very easy for my granddaughter to when she needs to alert someone she needs help.

Received a 3 pack of these, but only two of them worked out of the box. They are easy to operate and are definitely loud.

These are great and I carry them every time I am out walking. I walk a mile to two miles every day in a wildlife sanctuary. Many times there are people out on the trails and I don't worry that I am alone but other times I find myself alone without anyone else around. The sound is very loud but they are super easy to carry. I put the strap around my wrist and the key ring around my middle finger and carry it inside my palm for easy access. The sound would repeal a bear [which are in the area where I walk] and it can be heard for quite some distance. I like the way it is designed to carry. For me, it keeps my hands essentially free and yet it is right there to activate if needed and I don't have to unzip a pocket or fish around inside a fanny pack to find it. I am never without it now.

Very loud and great to deter anyone with bad intentions. Luckily I haven’t had to use them in this situation.
