July 21 , 2022 edit. These lights are great! They have been on our pier and subject to salt water, sun, and storms for over a year and not a single light has failed! In the past we would lose about half of our lights each year. I could not be more happy. We have 300' pier with a boathouse at the end. For the last 8 years we have used 28 led pathway lights to mark the edges of the pier, the boathouse, and steps down to the upper and lower crab decks. Having marker lights really helps guests, especially when the moon isn't bright. The website for our old ones says "these solar path lights are built to withstand the elements for a long service life". Hogwash, they would get water in them during the first rain. Even so, the lights would last through the summer, and we considered the safety of our guests important enough that we replaced the old ones about once a year. At $35 for a pack of four it was expensive. So I bought 7 packs of these lights to see how well they would do. The price was about the same, they claim to be IP68 waterproof, and I didn't have anything to loose. I installed them 6 weeks ago. They have held up well very well. During the past 6 weeks our rain gauge has measured over 19" of rain. So far not a single one of the lights shows any sign of internal moisture. We are VERY happy with them. They are bright, look like they will last much longer than the old lights, and I can even replace the batteries. These lights could save us a lot of money. After about 4 weeks, one of the lights got noticeably dimmer and would only light up for a few minutes and then go out. Last week I sent a message to Seidinlar's customer service just before I went to bed. There was a reply in my inbox the next morning. They asked for my address so they could send a replacement, no other questions asked. My replacement arrived in 4 days. Now that's Customer service! We are very happy with these lights and two of our neighbors are ordering lights for their piers.

These lights are exactly what we wanted. We purchased a set of 4 to light the brick around our fire pit sitting area. We were looking for something that illuminated the area so we could step over the brick safely but did not want so much brightness that it took away from the ambiance. These are perfect. They last all night long, are of good quality and sturdy, and illuminate the area beautifully. Super happy with this purchase!

Ordered these light for my driveway. One light came with an issue. I Emailed the company and they sent me a replacement with no issues. The lights are installed and work great. They seem well built and the light last all night.

I wantend lights for my dock to work as path markers and boundary markers, not as much to shed light on the dock. These as you can see in the photo work good for this purpose. They are bright, stable, sturdy and rain proof. Appear to be very good quality. They last the entire night and this is in the winter when nights are longer and the sun not so bright. I have no complaints about the lights themselves but there are a few details potential buyers should be aware of: 1. The screws that come with them are very cheap and the Phillips head on them will strip as you install them. Specially if you use an electric screwdriver. I advice buying better quality screws that are stainless. 2. The batteries are two AA rechargeables and have a life expectancy of two years. So, they will need replacement if the lights last that long. That is why you need to use good screws to be able to remove them from the floor, replace the batteries and re-install them. 3. As you know these lights come in a box of four. I have bought or been gifted six boxes for a total of 24 lights. I have four lights uninstalled, as spares, in case some go bad with time. There is usually at least one non-working light per 1 - 2 boxes when they arrive. You cannot send just one light back, you must return the entire box, all four lights, if you want an exchange or refund. Given the frequency of not working lights this can become rather tedious. Amazon is great about executing the return, but it tends to be a recurring problem. I bought or got gifted five boxes and placed them outside without screwing them to the dock for several nights and weeded out the defective ones and retuned them in one box. But still had to return another because there was a defective light in the replacement. The last one, number six I ordered and kept for replacements that might be needed after the return period or warranty expire. Otherwise, I love these lights. There are exactly what I was looking for. I'm glad that I bought them and fully recommend them. I have had them since Xmas Day, and since then replaced and ordered the spares. Later this year I will submit a follow-up on how they have performed, maybe in six to nine months.

These Solar Deck Lights are very well designed. I had one of eight LED lights which no longer charged properly. The company honored my warranty request and made a prompt delivery of a replacement light. Well done! I especially like the feature of these solar lights which allows you to replace the rechargeable battery.

Great ambient soft blue lighting. Just the right amount of ambiance for spa and deck scenario. Would also work great for boat docks. anywhere a lighting guide is needed. They are bright enough if you're looking for more ambient lighting not the bright white lighting .Love the idea that you can replace batteries as needed. This is a plus as they will last longer if you can replace yourself.. They suggest once a year- Amazon has great batteries for this. Other LED eventually die out and you have worthless lights. Spend the money on something you can have for years if cared for properly. Nice round hard shell- weather proof and blue light seems to be in more circular direction which is nice.. Had a slight problem with one light BUT the customer service here is excellent- e-mailed them (address on box) and within 24hrs had a replacement sent out no hassle ....... These folks believe in their product and occasionally one can get a defective light. But to have it handled immediately is another reason to purchase a good set backed by a excellent customer service. Installation is very simple- We preferred to be able to move them where light needed - around hot tub - walk way etc. Bottom line: Excellent customer service 5 star- should there be a problem with order, durable hard shell casing with nice round circular layout of lighting blue in our case. Overall very pleased with these lights and pricing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND- In-fact we'll be ordering another set Blue. They are that nice. and a very reliable customer service. Can't go wrong here - worth the spend! Will update as we have had these awhile. Being able to change battery should assist in making these last a very long time. Update Oct 9-2019 Seriously these folks stand behind this product. Should anything go wrong with them, it is handled immediately. Jackey customer service is great. Customer service at it's best. Have been so impressed purchased another set. You cannot go wrong with these deck or dock lights. Nice blue lighting. Not enough stars for this item especially customer service. You will be able to contact by e-mail with instructions and address on box should you have any warranty issues. Excellent purchase. A no hassle purchase makes all the difference.

We love these lights! We have them everywhere! Living in the Texas hill country it’s very dark here due to the fact there are no street lights and not allowed to have bight spot lights. These are wonderful! Just take them out of the box and flip the switch on the back and that’s it. Super easy to install . We used liquid nails to secure ours down but it does come with screws / holes on it so you can use them on wood. They last and last ! With all the deer / critters here they are much more functional for us being flat so that they can’t be knocked over! I feel they are worth the extra money because of how long they last. We have some that are 2 years old which is amazing considering the extreme temps here. We get weather from 105- to snow!! Get them!

I ordered 16 of these. Only 14 of them worked. I used them to delineate the boundaries of different levels of a deck. The idea is to see that I am stepping down to a new level and to see what I was about to step on. They are bright and do a good job of identifying the boundary but do not put out much ambient light, so while I know where the boundary is, I can't see anything I might be stepping on (e.g., acorn, Lego block, or empty space). I can use the lights, but I'll just use them to identify the outer edge of the deck (which is under 3ft above the ground and has no railing). The lights do a good job of showing where the edge is, and I plan to get another 16 of them. Installing them was easy, but I did something a little more extravagant than just screwing them down. I didn't want to damage the deck with screw holes, so I fastened them to the edge of 1/4" plywood and slid the plywood into the cracks between the planks.
