Sorry for giving the review after five years. But I believe it's a good time to review this product. It's working fine since 4 years. Built quality, performance and looks are good. No issues so far. Just clean the bag and filter very often. I have recommended this vaccum clear to many of my family members.

Was using 1200W version of American micronic vaccuum cleaner and had been using for years. We didn't need this heavy and powerful one though. Build wise it is quite sturdy and powerful but carrying it around is a tough task. Also the handle of the hose pipe is quite wide and difficult to grip.Extremely difficult for elder aged folks to use it.I wanted to return but there is no return option ,only replace option. Be carefull while ordering if you think of giving it a try and returning.

I bought this product in the Diwali discount sale after reading the positive reviews! It is light weight, has good suction power, looks cute, maroon is my favorite color, not many attachments, hassle-free to use, the wire length is too good, very sturdy gadget! On the whole can go for it! I wanted to buy something other than Eureka Forbes, for I had it for the last 22 years, so found one for the same price at which I had bought the previous one 22 years back! The only drawback, no blow dryer! Yet, can go for it! Have been using it on a daily basis for the last 8 months! I am buying the same once again for my 80 year old Mom because it is light weight! Thank you, American Micronic & Amazon for this wonderful product! No need to depend on maids! Certainly, a money-saver & a time-saver! Leaves the floor shining & gives a clean look! Go for it!

Product is Good but Only with 2 types of accessories

I got the item to give this item as gift to some one who was getting married on 3rd nov. Waited for item to arrive till 8.30 in evening but did not arrive. Any way I had to give cash as gift. The item arrived next day. Arriving late it was of no use to me as I already possess eureka Forbes vacuum cleaner costing rs11000. So I had to return it next day.Out of curiosity I opened the box to test it. Really speaking I was amazed to see it's compact and sleek design. Suction power more than 10 times of my eureka Forbes. Steel extension rods solid one. Lesser attachments but it does not matter. Small but powerful beast. Washable filters so no buying of filters . Praying my eureka to get damaged so to sell it to scrap dealer to get product from american micronic through Amazon. My hard luck I got it late as I feel my cash gift was no substitute to a product like this.

I was a bit apprehensive when I purchased this product but some really nice reviews made me go ahead and purchase this, and guess what I am not disappointed.1. It has performed well in terms of suction power, has a long cord which helps me reach the fan as well as hidden corners of the house.2. It does not make much noise. One can be using in a room and someone can still sleep in the adjoining room. Definitely not as noisy as other vacuum cleaners I have seen.3. It has accessories which are tailor-made for specific purposes. For example there is an accessories which helps in cleaning carpets which was a bonus as so hadn't expected it.4. My only slight disappointment is that the small nozzle which should clean the best doesn't perform better than the bigger one. Since the small nozzle has more suction, it ideally should clean better but I guess that's fine given the bigger nozzle does exceedingly well.It has a 2 years' on-site warranty which is amazing but I haven't had to call them for that. Still the promise of 'no questions asked exchange' is assuring.

Mine didn't even turn on

After reading several reviews, I narrowed it on to this product. I have used the vacuum cleaner a few times, I can confirm that product is of great quality, good suction power, good cord length, cable retracting mechanism, reusable bag, sturdy material.Major flaw: Fewer accessories are provided but still can be managed.Small complaint: The cord of the vacuum cleaner had a small cut and covered with tape. I don't expect this to happen on a new product.
