Fantastic and absolutely needed to safetly open your 360 without damage and the price was amazing.

I run a small game console repair gig and didn't have a way to open an old Xbox 360 model for repairs. I grabbed this and it seems to operate as it was intended. My only complaint is to Microsoft for making the plastic portions of the case as the tool tend to break the old plastic if your FORCEFUL with it; not the manufacture's of the tools fault, just more complaint on the console developer's.

This tool is cheap. If you need to open your xbox once or twice to replace a dvd drive or something I would recommend this to you. The tool is not so sturdy and bends easy but works like a charm. The screwdriver is great and works well. Overall i was thrilled.

As someone who tried to use other tools to try and open the tabs and would break them, this was a miracle. It is easy to use and while the back left side was a tad harder to open than the right, no tabs were broken in the process. The included screwdriver helps with opening the chassis. Unless you are very careful with prying I would say pick this up, it’s cheap and if you want an easy tool to open your Xbox with then pick this up.

This opening tool for the Xbox 360 is very easy to use. The opening tool enables me to get them apart in a couple minutes without risk of damage.If you aren’t careful then you can bend the opening tool, but I’ve been inside a dozen or more units and the tool is still good as new. The Torx driver is inexpensive but has held up well and I have no complaints.Note that these tools will enable you to dismantle the original fat / phat Xbox 360 and give you access to the disc drive, cooling fans, fan shroud, and top of the motherboard. It does NOT include a Torx driver to remove the ring of light or the heatsink screws on the bottom of the chassis, so plan to get a set of Torx bits if you need to fully remove the motherboard from the unit.

My main focus on this was the latch tool, not the screw driver, so I guess I'll get the driver out of the way first. It is very cheap, the mold isn't great, the swivel on the end is plastic on plastic and doesn't feel great, it can be hard to get a lot of leverage on it, but for the price, what do you expect? I had other drivers to use. As for the actual opening tool, it is a little bit flimsy and compared to another one I have that I got for a few cents more, this one seems a bit worse. It did get the job done, but I had to bend one or two of the prongs back into position once or twice. It should be noted that one of these isn't always required to open your 360, but it can be helpful. I personally can't get a phat 360 open without it, but I have opened several slims with a long metal pry bar (could use a screwdriver) and a thin metal jimmy tool without much issue.Long story short, if you just want to open your old phat to clean it and help prevent red ring, or to clean/grease your disc drive, this will work. If you want to use it many times over however, I would not expect it to hold up as well.
