Is this a shampoo? I am wondering why the description talks about an exfoliating cream for the body and face?

Yes I class this product as a shampoo. It cleans the scalp and it takes the itchyness away. I suffer from dermatitis on my scalp.

Not a good idea - but they do sell a cream equivalent that seems to work.
