Good Build quality, NOT Worth $70 and no iphone cable
i was very excited to get this. the product built and quality felt very good and necessary components were almost perfectly included. EXCEPT the most important Iphone 6 charging cable, was not included. and the little information paper inside the box said i need to use the cable that comes with my i device. NO GOOD!i thought i purchased a charger, at least cable should be included,NO way i do not want to dedicate the only cable that came with my iphone to the desk, then alternative is to purchase another pair of iphone cables worth $40 plus tax.so just to test out, i even used my own cable to feel the seating and ease of connection,For me it must be usable with the case i have. Although i was able to plug in with case on, but it was not comfortable at all.i felt i may break the connection because i had to wiggle a lot. Few more tries, and was easier to plug but still not comfortable at all.In my opinion this DEFINITELY is not worth $70 NO WAY.considering to purchase another $40 apple wires to actually be able to use this.BUT wait, i found another charger that DID COME with iphone charging cable, and it was only $14True this one has 2 housing vs one but even that was not worth $70 when you can have 5 of the other one with cable for the same price of one of this???? and this one with no cable???i found that amazing??? why is this with no cable $70 and the other one $14 with cable??must be something i was missing quality? Ease of USe? wont fit with my case on?...BUT NONE OF THAT!The fitting with my case on was even so smooth as if no case was on.i definately do not recomend thisand if i am allowed to help and compare, i will mention the following that was a no brainer just out of box worked as if you are using a apple product.this did it for me Southmaker Charge + Sync Dock $14My review is just to help other buyers, and hope the make of this re evaluate how they priced this with no idevice charging cable for $70.hope i was helpful

A little high on price, but functional.
The product is heavy and didn't have clear instructions. I don't think it takes them, but I've setup other docks, like the 12 South High-Rise. It would make life for others simple. It comes with pre-fitted USB cables and two sleeves to adjust for height and case thickness. Accommodates tablets and phones, with interchanging cables easily. You will need a dual USB outlet connection for the cables, or two single outlet connectors.Thick phone cases, 15 mm or more, will not fit for the depth and height. At least on an iPhone. The sleeves tend to come off, depending on how you remove your devices.Otherwise, the weight keeps a suction-like seal on the surface. Even when moving devices, it remains in place. Phones or tablets in the second holder don't allow you to touch a center button. For example, placing a tablet in this slot when it's low on charge and reading or watching something, you may try and hit the button out of habit, finding yourself annoyed.Otherwise, it does the job. Price for a fancy piece of milled aluminum and pre-made mini-USB cables is a little high, but current with what else is offered. Surprisingly heavy. Compact and easily carried around for travelers, so far, with the ability to adhere to all surfaces.

Almost there!!!! But worth it
This is a good dock. Almost perfect actually. It has a stick pad on the bottom that holds great. The item is well made from a aluminum block. No cheep plastic. It has spacers so it can work with several cases and devices. The onny things making this not perfect it. It comes with micro usb cables. No iPhone cables at all. I put a iPad in the back of the dock and my iPhone in the front. The was it is there is no way to press the home button when it is docked in the back, They should of cut out a little U shape from the front part so you can press buttons with out having to take it out of the dock. I do have a jailbreak solution that wrks well. And the last thing is that the apple connectors fit little loose and wiggleled around and got off senter. So all I had to do to fix this was I super glued them to the dock and it is fixed. Oh and its little pricy but the build quality is great. Worth the buy.

Great for phones, a little wobbly for tablets
First of all, I think this is the best dock out there if you have different types of devices across different charging platforms. For me, I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 phone and a Nexus 7 2013 tablet. This is the only dock I could find that would allow me to charge and dock both of those devices at the same time. Yes, this dock is expensive at $70, but it's made of quality metal and aesthetically better than anything out there. The only reason I don't give it a full five stars is that I think the design could be better for tablets. My phone docks great, but the tablet leans a little too much for my taste. The tablet still docks and can be made to stay upright, but I think if the resting plate of the back dock were raised a bit the tablet wouldn't lean as much. The great thing about this dock, of course, is if I sell either my phone or tablet and get, say, an iPad, I can still use this dock. That to me justifies the price.
