Go for it! Don’t wait.
I am halfway through this book and I realise that it’s already bringing changes in my perspective. It’s not everyday that something can bring change in us. It’s a book on design not really meant only for designers but for common folks like me. Trying to amend the ways we mis-interpret and avoid art as exclusive, elusive and if my dare-say effluent. I like the way this book is presented - fluid, lucid and tranquil. Doesn’t burden you anywhere with harsh terms or technical jargons. Every bit is enjoyable, to say the least. Go for it! Special thanks to amazon - it was through their recommendations that I reached this book!

Will help Designers see art and meaning in their designs
Bought this for my wife who is a designer. She says this is a seminal work on Art-Design intersection. She loved this book and I saw her taking copious notes for future blog/presentation purposes. This book can make digital or physical products designers relate to their craft better and help them see the deeper meaning and purpose in their design work. Today because of Steve Jobs every corporate fat cat is singing of virtues of good design but this book highlighted how one should look at design way back. This book has stood test of time and still considered as a Timeless Classic.

Great Inspiration. Signor Bruno Munari
I've had the honor of visiting Signor Bruno Munari's museum in Milan and so I know how amazing he was as a designer. It's equally fun to read this book, which has great reflections of his thought process.

Great book, but received piece is damaged!
Just received the book and its cover has torn edges! Not sure if it happened during transit or if the book itself was damaged! I am yet to decide whether to replace it or keep it! Will update the review if something happens!

Must read for abstract designers!
Very good quality of the book and printing, no errors, etc. Designing isn't explained in technical terms but through various stories, thoughts and abstraction. Hence the name "Design as Art".Can be read several times and relate the concepts to various things. Will update after completing the full book.
