Please be accurate! Is the thickness 5 (under the “Get Cozy” heading) or 4 inches (under the “features”)

No way this is 5 inches thick, it is barely 4 inches thick. I refer to the small (reported to be 12" x 16", but which is really 11" x 15"). I was disappointed that it was smaller than reported. Still useful as a very small backpacking pillow, but that is not what I bought it for....

What is best recommended, the medium or the large?

I purchased a large. I would not recommend this size for backpacking. It takes up a lot of space. Almost the size of a sleeping bag.

Is it supposed to be lumpy?

It's slightly lumpy because they use foam pieces for filling. Once you fluff it up you don't even notice it. I used it on a trip out west and I loved it.

Any plans to move production from China?

I don't want the price to double. There are many similar products, I shop based on price.
