Warm and comfortable WITH arch support
Well made, very warm and comfortable. I got these at the recommendation of a podiatrist since I’m having metatarsal issues. It provides great support which I needed. Pricey but worth it if you are looking for a slipper with more structure for your feet.

Worth it and size up
So I’m normally between 8.5 and 9. I do notice my foot size go up and down with weight gain. I tried the 9 and the length was too short for my foot. Usually with slippers, we don’t pick up our feet. We walk heavily with them and drag our feet. So I knew my feet were going to slip out if they were at the end of the shoe and with arch support, it has to fall perfectly in your arch. Otherwise, it can really hurt you. I took the risk of ordering a 10 and am soooo glad I did! I tried it for 3 days and decided it is the right fit.The arch support is better than any I’ve had. My arch actually stays up after using them, which is something no orthotic has ever done. They’re so comfortable and like a dream to my feet and arch. I want to cry- I feel like I’m walking on clouds! I haven’t had that feeling for a very long time.Ya it is expensive, especially for slippers. However, price wise for today’s world- it makes sense. They look nice- not like orthopedic shoes which makes me happy. They have a nice fur lining and yes, I can tell the fur will wear down. I’ve had plenty of faux fur. This is the kind that will get matted. That’s not new to me. So long as the arch support of the shoe doesn’t die too soon, I’ll be happy. And they’re slippers. Slippers don’t usually last that long anyway. I’d say that i hope these last me for about a year or 2. And I’m so tired of those not supportive slippers that you’re ankles rolling around like crazy and am so tired of uber flat shoes that only teens have the patience for. My feet hurt so much from them. This is definitely the lesser evil, especially now that I’m having back pain. So I’m definitely ready for these, even if it’s $75. I feel like if you wanted this to be any better quality, it’d be in the $100s. I’m glad it’s not. I would never try a slipper for $100, even if it had arch support.Anything cheaper and it’d one of those gimmick slippers where they promise arch support, but actually it’s just another cheap “made in china” slipper (nothing against china) that’s just as flat and unsupportive like the rest except for maybe it has memory foam in it or something. And it’s not the kind of arch support like the poor quality orthotics you’d buy at a drug store. No, these actually have arch support. These are real. And that’s another thing I was worried about when buying these and am definitely happy to be wrong about...or so I hope. After all, it’s been only a few days. But if I don’t update my review, then they’re good. Even if it doesn’t work out, I’ll still be happy that i tried it once. My feet feel like they’re in heaven.

Great arch support for around the house footwear
I love these slippers. I had plantar fasciitis years ago and Spenco shoes and inserts were the best help it getting it to go and stay away. This replaced my old pair. I love the darker color. If you have wide feet these will be a little snug, but not uncomfortable. My feet sweat a lot so sometimes I wear them with socks so I don't ruin the soft fluffy lining (which makes them slightly more snug). Kind of wish they had half sizes as I could use the extra heel room. Pricey but worth it in my opinion.

Really helped my Plantar Fasciitis pain!
Plantar Fasciitis flare-up caused me to search for comfortable slippers to wear around the house on my hardwood floors.I first ordered a pair of "Vionic with Orthaheel Gemma Luxe" slippers and was extremely disappointed in them - they were cute but the size 9 was WAAAAY too big and my foot slid around so the arch support always seemed to be in wrong place on my foot... I gave them to my niece who wears size 11.Because I was desperate, I decided to splurge and ordered these Spenco Slide Mule slippers. I've had them for 2 weeks now, been wearing daily and... I LOVE THEM! Supportive (not squishy-soft) footbed with good arch support. Fit true-to-size. Easy slide on-and-off. Cute design (my feet don't look big). Seem well-made (so far) - not stretching and not falling apart. Like other reviewers have said, they seem to be getting more comfortable the more I wear them... (I actually hate when I have to switch to my outside shoes (that have arch-support inserts in them) because they aren't nearly as comfortable as my slippers!)I would highly recommend these to anyone suffering from heel pain. Very happy with this purchase.

Great slipper
I bought these slippers because my friend recommended them to me. I complained to her about how sore and tired my feet felt when I did a lot of standing and cooking. I was dreading the holidays, so she told me all about her Spenco slippers. She said she loves them so much that she treats herself to a new pair every year. I have to agree with her. The Spenco slippers are the best to prevent tired feet because it has a lot of cushion and arch support and if it wasn't for these slippers I don't know how I would have gotten through two Christmases without them. Although they are a bit pricey, the slippers are worth it.

Not lasting as long as first pairs
I'm on my third pair now, so clearly I like these slippers! I first purchased a pair on the recommendation of my PT daughter-in-law when I was having plantar fasciitis issues. They were wonderful for handling that problem at home, where I used to go barefoot. I've never had another round of PF (thank goodness) but continue to wear these. Whenever I get a new pair, the older pair becomes garage or outside slippers because the sole is very sturdy.I will say that the cushy comfort of the interior of the slipper goes away more quickly than I'd like, probably within 4 months of daily wear, leaving a flat (and not cushy) surface between foot and the top surface of the sole material. It would be nice if there was at least a thin layer of durable foam under the furry fabric, especially considering the cost of a pair. I think the most recent pair wore out the fastest, including the fabric wearing right through to the top surface of the sole around the heel. That said, I've worn this pair almost every day for a year, and can still comfortably wear the slippers if I also wear socks.
