The kit arrived with the tools in it, they got the job done ok but I used another phillips driver for a few of the fasteners. A cellphone/computer repair kit with all the tiny heads in it will be useful so you don't strip the screws.The battery pack mostly aligned, I skipped two screws rather than try and force things, it was securely held in.The replacement pack took a charge no problem and seems to have full power.This is to put life back into a 9yr old laptop an Asus Zenbook that I've had for years. I put linux on it and it just flies along like new again. Worth the effort, $40 vs $1000 for a new laptop.

Edit: They were very good about replacing my original defective battery - a replacement arrived a few days later and works fine. I can't speak to longevity, but so far so good!Original review: This battery was slightly the wrong size—I had to gently stretch it for it to properly anchor. But the real issue is that the connector and cables would not seat properly into the motherboard connection. My laptop would turn on briefly and then the connector would loosen and the laptop would lose power. I tried taping the connector down, which ultimately failed. I've repaired/replaced multiple laptop batteries before with no issue, so this was a frustrating experience for me. The product is faulty, and I would think twice before buying it.

I ordered this as a replacement battery for an Asus UX305FA laptop. The initial item received resulted in a massive performance hit, as if the battery was not providing enough power to the machine. Amazon customer service determined it was defective and sent a replacement. I installed this battery, to no avail, as overall computer performance was roughly 20% compared to being plugged in at an outlet. This time, I opened an inquiry with the seller directly and they too deemed the 2nd replacement battery defective. Waste of time, and does not come with any tools or replacement screws. Shop elsewhere.

It appears to be a replacement for the C31N1411 Laptop Battery, but the upper right screw hole is too thick, had to leave the screw off.

This was a direct replacement for my ASUS UX305F laptop. It corrected a problem that I had with built-in circuitry on my old battery. The software said it could not detect a battery. The new battery not only fixed that issue, but it now runs a long time on battery...over 5-6 hours. The only downside was that 2 of the screws holding the battery down are quite short and I had to countersink the holes so they would catch. That's why I gave it 4 stars vs 5.

I read the reviews before purchasing and saw all of the negative feedback regarding fitment and the pictures tools not being included. I figured since I already had the tools and kapton tape those were issues I was okay with. I replaced the battery in and Asus UX305F and all of the mounting points lined up. The pictures tools were also included. The battery report from Windows shows good numbers. The only minor complaint I have it this battery is not nearly as stiff as the original and bends pretty easily, not marking the rating down for this since it's an internal battery and stays in place once mounted. Maybe I got lucky on the fitment and receipt of the tools, or maybe the negative feedback on previous sales was taken to improve the product.

My Zenbook has only been getting about 2-3 hours of runtime lately, so I figured it was finally time to swap out the battery. Diagnostics show it only charging to about 56% of its original capacity.I gave the replacement battery 5 stars overall, but only 4 for "Ease of Installation" due to battery tabs being slightly off. Assuming no issues crop up after a few days' use, I can easily give it 5 stars for the price and otherwise good quality.The mounting tabs on the battery don't *quite* line up with the mounting points on the laptop, but they're close enough that you can still get the screws in; however, I had to start the bottom four screws in at a slight angle before they would bite.The tabs at top center and top right (the two that use the smaller, silver screws) aren't countersunk like the ones on the OEM battery, and the top center screw would not bite. The top-right screw made contact with the threads, but just barely. Ended up taking one of the bottom battery screws to secure it at the top since there was plenty of support at the bottom.ACPI utilities show the battery with a full capacity matching the design capacity 0f 3950 mAh, and it seems to be charging at the expected rate. Disconnecting the charger demonstrated that the battery was working. I can't speak for the runtime yet, or longevity, but everything seems on the up and up. If any issues crop up, I'll update the review.

Ersatzakku passt bis auf eine Schraube (an der Stelle ist der Akkuhalter minimal dicker als das Original) in den Asus UX305. Akku hält aber genau wie Original und Cover lässt sich ohne Probleme montieren.Preis/ Leistung gut. Würde wieder kaufen
