Oster Inspire Electric Knife with Bonus Carving Fork, White

This is a very inexpensive knife and it is surprisingly effective. It slices thin uniform slices without shredding and makes carving very easy. It is easy to clean and use.The case is a nice feature and the delivery was actually a day earlier than expected.

This is a decent electric knife and performed admirably carving up a Thanksgiving turkey. The handle is easy to hold and grip even if your hands are covered in turkey fat and the switch is easy to press. Carving was smooth and removing an entire breast in one piece was a snap. The storage box is nice, although the carving fork is pretty crudely made and should't be the basis for buying. My only real caveat, and the reason for dropping 1 star is the blade lock can be difficult to engage when inserting the blade. You may have to work the blades in and out to get them to lock.

I was hoping that I'd have better luck with this knife than others-- I was mistaken.This item worked great when used for the first time on Thanksgiving.Using it again at Christmas, the blades would not stay within the unit. I tried everything to make them work-- no result.I kept hoping this would be a good unit-- it is not. I'll look for another brand and purchase. Poor quality unit

I chose this rating because I found this knife much better than any I have ever had. It was much sharper and cut through the meat without hesitation. It was easy to handle and I liked the storage case that came with it. I went with this brand because I have owned Oster products in the past and have had good luck with them.

This knife did not perform well. Holding the power switch and carving was awkward. It also did not cut as well as I would have expected for an Oster product. Is ok for occasional use which is why I bought it for my daughter. I have an electric knife that is over 10 years old and it works a lot better than this one.

This is an ok electric knife. I bought it to replace one that I had that seemed a little dull and I thought it would be ergonomically better. It works ok but it isn't as comfortable to operate as I had hoped. It's not as sharp as I would like either. It's ok for the price but next time I'll go with something more expensive.

This is a great knife, it comes with a fork also to help with your cutting. It works great and what I love the best is the case. Use it, clean it and put it away. For the price of it you can't beat it.

This was a gift for my mama to use for the holidays. It worked effortlessly and we couldn't be happier about it. I try to find something similar at our local stores and had no luck. This arrived timely and it works great. We would recommend this to any one with arthritic hands.
