Great iPad Keyboard
This Sharkk Ultrathin Keyboard is awesome. Wow, just, wow. It is very light. It has a great click-feel that makes typing a breeze. The keys are not the 'soft' keys, and they have a very quiet 'click' when depressed. I love this because it makes it easier for me to type on the keyboard. It paired very fast with no problems. I have the Apple Smart Cover, and this keyboard takes the place of the front cover in a very clever design. It attaches magnetically just like the front cover, and works to turn off the iPad2 when closed (just like the front smart cover does). I did not have to remove the back cover to use this keyboard. The only caveat with this set-up is that the back-covered iPad2 doesn't fit very well in the slot for leaning on the prop. For me, this doesn't really matter because I have my iPad2 in a pad-pillow, with the keyboard attached on the magnetic side...so I just prop up the pillow in my lap and type away! When I'm done, I turn off the keyboard and flip it over the iPad2. Works wonderfully for me! I would recommend this keyboard for anyone looking for an iPad keyboard. I cannot stress how light this keyboard is!

love it
I love this keyboard! The only problem is that I haven't found a case skinny enough to sit in slot and rest against kick stand. I just take the case off or rest my iPad 2 on something else wile I type. Also, the magnets don't hold firm to Ipad when the case is on. I don't mind, I just stick them together (it does hold together a little bit, but don't trust it not to fall off) and stuff in bag and use together as needed. I have had this product for a long time, maybe about a year, and I waited to give review. I have had other keyboards and one had a key pop off, another had keys stick, and another was just uncomfortable to me. I like this one because I have had no problems at all. If you can deal with the issues I spoke of, I highly recommend this case!

Just what it says!
I've been using the Zaggmate keyboard/case for my Ipad 1 the last few years. Loved it, never had a problem(keyboard is a little smaller than the Logitech and Sharkk). When I updated to a newer Ipad, I wanted a similar keyboard. Narrowed my choices to the Logitech UltraThin and the Sharkk. Loved the looks of the Logitech while shopping at a brick and mortar. Took a chance on the Sharkk because of price, $30 cheaper after extensive searching. Do not regret my decision at all. Love the response of the keyboard and is many features. Ended up buying a padded sleeve, V7, for protection since the keyboard attaches to the Ipad but is not really a case. Now I have the best of both, functionality and protection. You will not regret purchasing the Sharkk.

Good product; tiny bit cumbersome in set up
I like the style, the weight, the feel of the keys, and the look.Only down side for me is that you have to unhook the magnet in order to set up upright for keyboard use, then reattach the magnet when folding closed for travel. That is a little cumbersome, but I imagine I'll get used to it over time. This also means that when typing on the keyboard, the ipad is not actually attached to the keyboard, so it slips off easily if not at a stable table. Also, I'm discovering that I often accidentally hit the lock button (which turns off the iPad) when I am reaching for the backspace button. All that being said, it's totally the money for this price point of iPad keyboards. I would definitely purchase again.

Awesome little keyboard!!
I have used this now for about a week and so far am very pleased with the keyboard. The first thing I noticed was that it was super light but very sturdy. I like the feel of it and the spacing between the keys is just right. I type allot and this keyboard does the job. Its easy to use and I can type super fast. It was easy to use from the beginning.I noticed some reviews stating that they had a hard time pairing the keyboard with the iPad. I did not have this problem. The directions state " Bluetooth connection button: The On/Off switch is already in the On position. (its not). Press on the [Connect] button, The keyboard is now ready to be connected to your devise." After moving the on/off switch to on, the blue light flashed and all seemed to be good. But after the iPad could not find a connection I decided to start over. I turned it off and on and pressed the connect button. That was indeed what needed to happen and it paired very easily after that.In terms of use. Its super easy to type on and does indeed have a very satisfying click and feel when typing. I also like the short cut keys at the top. Very helpful and useful. The sleep mode function is great and feel comfortable leaving it turned on knowing it will not drain the battery. I charged it fully and have not had to charge it again. I think it will go for weeks without needing a charge. I also feel that the iPad is secure in the keyboard and will not fall out. I even pushed it around the table attempting to get it to come out and it did not. I've used it on my lap, but find that it bounces around too much but if its on an iPad pillow its fine.In terms of looks. It looks awesome with my iPad. Like a little laptop. I feels good in the hands and opens easily. It does turn the iPad on and off which is nice. It seems to stay closed pretty well but it does not lock into place and will come open. I knew this going in and am not bothered by it at all. I just got a sporty little band to go around the iPad and keyboard when closed and it works great.I also like the small rubber pumpers that are on the keyboard. This insures that the keys don't touch the iPad and scratch the screen. They are at each corner of the keyboard and raised just enough to protect the iPad screen.I would recommend this to friends and plan on purchasing one for my mom. She just got an iPad and this will work great for her.**update 01/07/2014**So I still really like the keyboard and will continue to use it but the new cover I purchased to go with it does not fit. I even tried the old one I had and it does not work either. The little slot where the iPad rests is too small to accommodate a thin cover around the iPad. I have looked on Amazon and not yet found a cover made by Sharkk. It would be nice if they made a back cover for the iPad that worked with the keyboard they sell.

Many Good Features
I really wanted a keyboard for the iPad, because the on-pad keyboard is, frankly, less than useless. Shifting modes instead of shifting keys is a giant step backwards in the computer interface area. So this keyboard is a big help. As near as I can tell, it doesn't replace all the functions of the on-pad keys, but it brings the iPad back into the usefulness of the laptops it hopes to replace. If it just had a "send" key for email, it would have gotten one more star.
