Bioculum consists of micro-organisms which can degrade organic waste. Bioculum does not contain maggot eggs.

Q: Is this bioculum work for 24hours composting process?

Bioculum consists of micro-organisms which can degrade organic waste. However degradation depends on the particle size of the material. Smaller the particle size faster is the degradation. Composting process is slow it cannot happen within 24hours. Bioculum would not be recommended for 24hours composting especially if the equipment has a heater with more than 60degree temperature none of the microbial products will work. It will take atleast 10-15days for composting if you provide chopped organic waste and use bioculum.

Q: how long does it take to decompose waste?And what other things can i add to it to speed the process?

It takes around 60 - 70 days to decompose the waste provided you regularly turn over the water for aeration at every 3 -4 days interval and maintain sufficient moisture ( please note, not wet and soggy)

Q: Do we need to add coco peat along with this or just the Bioculum is enough?

Kitchen Waste with equal amount of Leaves or papers and then bioculum a bit. coco peat not required

Okay for home composting

Good!!! But Shipping? Ufff!!!

This is a good compost accelerator. I have been using this in a commercial composter since 6 months and its very good. The only downside is the shipping charges. 250 Rs even for prime members? It does not make sense.
