Killerspin Table Tennis Clip-On Net & Post Set - Definitely The Easiest Net & Post Set to Assemble

Sturdy, Easy and Inexpensive
I am thrilled with this net-post set.My table came with the lamest possible net set - the kind that has elastic bands at the end. Any serious player will appreciate the importance of a taut net set to the game. This product does it all at a lower price than any competitor. It is extremely easy to set up.For those who couldn't figure out the assembly, I have uploaded customer images on the product page. Here's my attempt at instructions:1) mount the net posts on both ends - without the net of course.2) there is a solid metal rod with black end-caps sitting inside of the net post. Take it out and slide it into the black plastic ends (loops) of the blue net.3) put the metal rod (along with net end) back into the hollow net post. The net post has a slit on the one side to allow the net to slide all the way to the base of the net post.4) guide the loose net string into the notch on top of the metal rod and engage the metal chain in one of the two notches at the base of the net post.5) do the same with the other side.6) adjust height of the net to 6 inches by turning the knob underneath the net post. Now adjust the tautness by re-engaging the metal chains as needed.Again, don't forget to look at the images on the product page under "customer images".Hope this helps.

Solid net for recreation tables
I got this net to replace the stock net on my Stiga table (the screw on type that always seemed to fall off of one side of my fold-up table). I was concerned that the clip-on connection wouldn't be wide enough to cover the gap in the middle of the table but it does. As others have stated, it is very disappointing that there are no instructions. Granted, most of it is simple but if you don't install table tennis nets often, you can forget what to do with the tension string. The net comes w/ dog tag chain at the end of the tension string that can be connected to the bottom of the net post. Figured that out on my own (cause I had to!).It only took minutes to install after I figured out the string issue and the net is substantially better than the stock one. It is sturdy and can be removed and replaced in a minute if needed. If it came w/ instructions, it would be an easy 5-star (given the price - I paid around $35).

Outstanding value for a table tennis net
By far the best net for the money which I've found. Our club plays 5 times/week, and the tables and nets are put up and taken down at each session, so there's a lot of wear and tear. I don't know why the nets are so flimsy- they wear out so quickly that over time we spend about as much on nets as on tables. We've tried Butterfly, Stiga, and Joola nets (all of which are much more expensive that this one), and so far this has outlasted them all.Caveat- we've only used one Killerspin net for about 3 months, but that's longer than the others have lasted. I've ordered 3 more for our club.Follow-up (March 2015)- after a couple of years experience with multiple Killerspin nets, I have several comments to add: - unlike what I said above, it's not substantially more durable than other net/posts sets. They're all too flimsy. - if one turns the net upside down during installation, the net guide falls out of the post bracket and it has to be reassembled. This is not an issue if a knowledgeable user is handling it, but in a club with many members there's always someone who learns the hard way. - coming out of the box, it's the easiest net to set up that I've seen. Others require more assembly of posts and brackets.I still recommend it as the best value among high quality nets. Hopefully Killerspin has corrected, or will correct, some of the flaws. We're about to order several more.

Wow, most amazing net I have ever seen.
Though not in any way professionally, I have been playing ping pong for over 15 years now. This is the most amazing net I have every played with. The adjustable height works very easily and the adjustable tension works perfectly. The clamps are so strong and much better than any crank down solution I have seen in the past. The clamps are so strong that they align the table back up for us which was out of alignment in the middle by about an inch. Highly recommend.

Excellent net!
This is easily the best net I've ever used. Perfect for situations where your table must be folded and moved to a new location each time you play. That's our setup where I play. Previous nets we've used lasted about a year before the posts would break. The clamp mechanism here hugs the table tightly with a strong spring, so tension of the net is never a problem. I don't understand the user who posted problems with net tensioning. It's totally simple. A steel rod goes inside the looped ends of the net, and then slides down the post into place. So, clamp on the posts, insert the rods into the end loops of the net, slide the ends into the hollow posts, then adjust fine tuning of the net tension with the top string extending from the ends of the net, and attaching to little notches in the post base. Presto. Easy, and works great every time. This post/net setup may well outlast the table, since there are no stress points at all! I'm buying another for my local clubhouse...

Rugged and Attractive Clip-On Net
I bought this net for the table tennis club I run at work. It is super easy to set up, sturdy & rugged, holds high tension perfectly, and visually attractive. The only flaw, and the reason I took away a star, is that at the lowest net height position, the net is 1/16th" above the 6" regulation playing height. I think the manufacturer forgot to take the actual net post and mount into the height requirement. In any case, you can just barely get it low enough. I'd like to see this fixed.

Great net!!!!
We got this to replace a cheapo net that came with my pool table topper tennis table. It was very easy to install except that the screw on bottom of the net post pops out if you put too much tension on net. The posts just clamp on the table with no tools needed. We were able to fine tune the tension and can now enjoy the gameplaying. Good product and great service with quick shipping.

Better check if it fits your table
Post set did not fit the ping pong table. The net with the posts was not wide enough. I am only using the net with the old posts. Better check if it fits your table...
