Works consistently well - bought one for my school laptop too

So far this is the third mouse I'm buying from a similar series over the span of many many years. They last. The only reason I've changed them was because of physical damage. I dropped one and the battery leaked in the other. If not for these reasons, I think they would last even longer.

Nice mouse just not so comfortable and the wheel not so smooth as M325, which I had before. Very disappointed with plastic, it`s really weaker than M325

Logitech have stated online that the M317 is compatible with the unifying adaptor, but that was not the case with this mouse - they seem to have totally abandoned the adaptor with recent products/iterations which is very disappointing as I don't want to use a USB port per product.

I've had this mouse a little over 3 months. I do photography and graphic design- so this mouse has been used a lot! It fits my hand well and it's very easy to plug in and start using right away. The click isn't silent but I actually prefer that. The design is cute and isn't wearing off anywhere. The battery Is still going strong.

Great wireless mouse that comes with a Unifer Receiver. The receiver​ is a great value as it can be used on multiple wireless products simultaneously. Medium size mouse, works great with laptops. This product is about half the price of the mouse and receiver if purchased separately. Great value.

This particular model is a perfect compact size, color, value and price. Out of the box, plug in, turn on and ready to go! I currently have 3 Logitech Mice (various models) and will continue to purchase them in the future. They are functional for most needs with a pleasing, minimalist aesthetic. Also very good lifespan.

Until I retired a few years ago, I was the network admin for a small library system and I had, over the years, purchased literally hundreds of computer mice. Logitech was the brand I usually purchased as they were reliable and good value for money. So, when I needed a new mouse for my laptop, I bought another Logitech. And it is just as good as all the ones I've bought before. It fits my average size hand perfectly, the wheel and buttons are quick and easy to use, and the curser moves smoothly and accurately. It comes with batteries already installed, ready to use. I confess I am puzzled to read some of the one star reviews as I have never had any of those issues and the mice I was purchasing for the libraries were in heavy use. I can't speak to their customer service as I never had to invoke a warranty or contact customer service at all. I would recommend the Logitech M317 mouse for good, reliable, basic mouse use.
