Great value! Great taste!
Don't waste your money on those small bottles of crushed red pepper. Buy the big containers like this. It costs so much less and is so much more economical. If you have one of the small bottles then keep it and buy the big ones like this one and just keep refilling it. Did I mention this is organic? It is and I love to get organic when it's available. The price is great too and I think you'll love it. I highly recommend this. Take care folks!

ENORMOUS CONTAINER OF ORGANIC HOTNESS!
This is by far the biggest container of organic red pepper flakes (7.75ozs)- Almost like buying bulk (half pound). It is an economical deal, if you use a lot, and relatively timely packing expiration April2027. Glad to have found it.

Could be a little spicier
I am pleased with the flavor and value of this large McCormick organic crushed red pepper. I would prefer if it were a little spicier. It doesn't taste very hot to me at all, however I do have quite a high spice tolerance. The only thing that I really don't like about this product is that some of the pieces of red pepper flakes look more like stem pieces then ground red chili peppers. Often times I am using these flakes as a finisher and I don't want my guests to think I am serving them stems! It's possible the product could be sifted or filtered better for a more uniform quality. Otherwise, good product.
