Excellent book for false beginners from a scholar in Hindi
Rupert Snell, originally from the UK has mastered many intricacies of the Hindi language. He shares his knowledge with great communication and brings practical details for the reader. I would definitely recommend this book

Lessons missing in audio support
I still haven't started learning from the book and audio CDs. But I've already noticed that audio CD 2 was supposed to comprise lessons 10 to 18 of the book, but lessons 15, 16, 17 and 18 are missing, whereas lessons 10, 11, 12 and 13 are duplicated. I don't know if this problems happens with many product units or only with the one I purchased.

Complete Hindi: Teach Yourself
This book is very nice and it will help us to read alone without any guide or teacher. Each and every lesson is based on a conversation format and this helps to understand the meaning as well as grammar very well.

Read before buying
This book is a good book if you learn the hindi alphabets and learn to pronunce it throughly. But if you want to just learn spoken hindi like me please dont buy. The starting five lessons were great. But from the sixth everything goes downhill. Till the fifth chapter as you can see it has English word pronunciation. And after 5th it ends you can see the image. Most pronunciations are also wrong. Please beware. A great book ( till 5th chapter)could have been done better!! I have uploaded images from both sixth and fifth chapter please compare yourself.
