Mary Jane Peanut Butter flavored TAffies
They were good. Not as good as the old, peanut butter kisses, but satisfied. Extremely hard to get.

To hard to eat
The candy was a small roll, not customary rectangle shape. Also it was extremely hard, and since I’m buying this for my 90yr old mom I’m not sure she would be able chew them. Manufacturers are getting away with deception practices. DONT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR!

New & Better Mary Janes
I remember the hard rectangular candy with peanut butter filling, as well. I liked those but they were too hard. These are smaller and softer but with no peanut butter filling, like a small tootsie roll, and they have the same peanut butter and molasses flavor. I like these a lot better. Change is good sometimes.

Not close to the original recipe
Disappointed. I was hoping for the Mary Jane’s that were little rectangle candies with real peanut butter in the center. These are really just peanut butter flavored taffy bites that aren’t close to the ones I grew up eating by the bunch. With a little research I found out that the original Mary Jane makers went bankrupt and I assume the new company felt their new recipe was close enough, but I would disagree.
