Exact Kohler Toilet Replacement kit.
I replaced my new house toilet with a Kohler. It has worked great for ten years even though the inside tank parts are plastic. These replacement parts are exactly what I needed.

It has compatible components that can be swapped across part numbers...
Honestly, I couldn't get the exact part I needed. I needed 1110586 which is a little taller, but the only reason I needed a replacement was because the center part that mounts the whole assembly to the toilet broke at the base. That part is the same on this part, so I could swap it out and get my toilet working 100%. The actual part that broke was Part # 1063553-AA. That's the common part I swapped from my order to the original assembly.

After searching local hardware stores and then lowes no one had the correct fit. Ordered it by the plumbers request.Fit perfectly. Able to flush the toilet within 15min of getting the package delivered

Perfect Fit
So, my toilet tank was leaking into the bowl - so fast in fact that you could watch the water level go down after it filled. I first tried replacing the flush valve cannister seal but it didn't stop the leak. Next step was to replace the whole flush valve. This kit contains everything you need - the flush valve with a cannister seal already on , the red gasket that seals the bottom of the tank already on, and the big tank to bowl gasket. You don't need anything else. The included directions are good - they cover removing the tank and flush valve and installing the new one. There are some good YouTube videos out there as well. The hardest part was removing the large nut that connects the flush valve to the tank. When I first tried it with an oil filter wrench around the nut and slip joint pliers around the shaft, I couldn't budge it. So I sprayed some WD-40 between the nut and the shaft and let it soak in awhile. That did the trick and I was able to remove the nut. The rest was easy - just take it slow. While I had the toilet disassembled I replaced the fill valve as well. The toilet now works perfectly - no leaks. This kit is a great buy and fits great - much better than calling a plumber. I'm happy.
