Goldfish Loves It
This is my common goldfish's favorite food. He also loves diced up, peeled peas. But we generally give him a variety of food (dried blood worms, peeled peas, goldfish flakes) and this is the one he is most excited about. He can identify the container, too, so he swims to the feeding corner and slaps at the top of the water when he sees this come out. Sometimes they come in dried cubes that we break up before feeding, but the latest container was already all broken up into little pieces. So they're not 100% consistent but I think the freshness and flavor is the same based on Daddy Fish's reaction.

A Good Addition to My Fish's Previously Poor Diet - Good Product
Don't be like me and wait too long to learn that the ingredients contained in the standard flake or pellet food are inadequate.I have a few larger sized fantail goldfish in a 40 gallon tank. Since I am a casual fish owner I just always assumed the flake food and pellets contained the correct ingredients to provide a fish with a balanced diet.I was wrong. And, now I am looking at my most favorite fish in the tank next to me sitting on the bottom of the tank suffering with constipation. For months this fish would swim and lay upside down. It was upside down as much as it was right side up. It wasn't until it stopped swimming altogether that I realized I had neglected to balance it's diet properly and it is severly constipated.Brine shrimp are recommended to prevent this condition. And, your fish won't necessarily exhibit clear signs like mine did.So, add this item to your fishes diet and do them a favor. My fish love it, and go crazy when it hits the water. Time will tell if I waited too long for the upside swimming fish.In my opinion there are a lot of fillers in this product. It is difficult to tell by the label (see below) since I don't know the make-up of brine shrimp, just basing that on appearance. But, there is a product out there that is not in chunk form and is not grey-ish in color. It is pure, freeze dried brine shrimp. No fillers. When you open the bottle there are literally small shrimp you take out one by one to feed the fish. I won't mention the brand or store out of respect for this product, because it works great also!Crude Protein: Min 55%Crude Fat: Min 7%Crude Ash: Max 18%Crude Fiber: Max 3%Moisture: Max 7%

Fish go berserk
It is freeze dried brine shrimp in a cube form, not live brine shrimp. I have a small Solar pond with a small school of fish next to my deck. The fish go bonkers for this. I crush the cubes up into a fine powder and throw them in the pond after I get home from work. The fish are always waiting for me. Watching them gobble up the brine shrimp is so much fun. Highly recommend!

Too crumbly , but that might be hue it is.
I’m still figuring out how to feed it to my fish without it crumbling and having food on the aquarium floor. It comes in small crumbly chunks, and gets powdery when you try to pinch a piece off to feed the fish. But the fish loves it. Will take it right from my finger.

My fish's favorite food!
This is probably the fish's favorite meal in my tank. I use flakes, pellets, blood worms, algae wafers, and these. All fish in the tank go crazy and will attack this when I drop it in until it breaks apart into many different pieces, and then they devour them. I must say that I'm really surprised at how much these small pieces expand and break up once you drop them into the tank. They break up into many different brine shrimp, so put in a smaller piece than you think you need.My tank:6 Danio Glofish6 Tetra Glofish12 Jumbo Neon Tetras6 Cory Cats20 Cherry shrimp
