High quality counterfeit
Counterfeit phone running pirated software. Almost indistinguishable from a genuine LG. Runs good, performance is good. Impressive quality for a fake.

Nice phone
It has a relatively short battery life. Love how quickly it responds to touch though.

6 months in and I'm still happy. Overall a good phone.
I have had this phone for about 6 months now and here are my findings.Screen - A nice, crisp screen with vivid colours. Not a match for the Super AMOLED screens in Samsung's but for LCD, very high quality indeed. The always on display is a good feature which quickly allows you to check the time and see if you have any notifications. It comes with a minimal battery penalty and so I would say is worth having. My only negative with the screen is that it occasionally my screen seems to suffer from temporary burn down the sides in after using the keyboard. It seems to last a little while then fade away, most noticeable when you are on a dark screen.Cameras - In good lighting conditions, all three cameras are very good. The wide angle lens works very well and comes in handy very frequently, particularly when taking photos of large objects or in confined spaces. It doesn't capture in as high quality as the main camera but it is still to a high standard. It's a very useful feature that I wish more phones would adopt! The standard camera takes excellent photos and the selfie camera can take good quality photos too. In low level lighting, the cameras sometimes seem to struggle to focus, but the results are often acceptable.Performance - Operates smoothly, with little lag. Plenty of power design having a less powerful processor than the standard G5. I do a fair bit of multitasking and it handles it all very well.UI - LG's UI seems to be fairly lightweight and a lot less intrusive than Samsung's UI, though not as clean as Sony's. Thankfully LG released an update that allowed you to have an app tray as opposed to just having all your apps on the home page, which is a much messier layout. This phone can currently be updated to Android 7.0. Your guess is as good as mine as to whether it will get 8.0. I would hope so, but I'm not going to hold my breath.Design - Metal body feels nice and the screen which curves at the top looks well designed. The finger print scanner is well positioned on the back and is close to where your finger naturally falls. The modular aspect of the phone is a complete waste of time and there are no bits that are worth having. What might please a lot of people is that the battery is replaceable as this phone isn't a sealed unit like a lot of today's higher end phones. The downside of this is that it isn't waterproof like a lot of it's competitors.Battery - Fairly poor. Often struggle to get a day out of it, though I do watch videos and browse the web a fair bit. However, I was comfortably getting a day out of my Sony Z3. Now I charge my phone midday to make sure that it will last to the end of the day.Overall, I'm pleased with the phone. The cameras perform well the majority of the time and features such as the wide angle lens are very useful. The overall performance of the phone is good, there are just a few little problems here and there but they aren't troublesome enough to make me dislike the phone. The biggest issue with this phone is that at the time of writing now, the LG G6 is only about £60 more. For that difference, it is probably worth spending the extra to get the more powerful and newer G6. It will be supported for longer, is waterproof, better rated camera and a better screen. However, if your budget doesn't allow for it, this is still a very good phone.

Great phone...better packaging
I was aiming for a G6 but at over £300 I thought that's too much so plumped for the G5 model. I am really, really impressed with the build quality in that it feels like a more expensive model. Functions on the mobile are dead easy to find, swipe and use.Battery time and use I've yet to try fully but to be honest it's probably going to be like most on the market. Dual camera is pretty impressive for this price range too.My only slightly negative remark is that the Amazon packaging wasn't as tough as expected, one of the end flaps was not secure. Only would have needed a finger to flip this out and slide the box out??Product great, packaging needs checking...

I will definitely buy from this seller again. Excellent 5*
I brought this as ex demo, I expected a few scratches, damaged box, earphones or user guides, but the box was in perfect condition and looked to have been opened once. Everything was there and was still wrapped in the original cardboard and plastic. The phone itself was perfect as new and started at factory presets. Absolutely fantastic a brand new LG G5 for under £80 WOW!

Really great phone! I had the LG G4 before I bought this. The phone has some very good features incl. the fingerprint scanner and an excellent set of rear cameras, one of which has a wide lens. The 'modular' design with the battery is a bit unusual however, but innovative. If you want a better modular-designed phone, probably wait for the G6. Overall, I would totally recommend this phone as it is very reliable and the battery life is long! Finally, I would buy a fast charger (not sure if it comes in the box, but I bought this Used so needed to buy a fast charger.

Prefer LG G6
Reviewing on 4 April 2018. Bought on 8 July 2017. Sold by: Connected247 at £282.97Low battery life, own this for less than a year but have to charge it 3 times a day if I'm using the phone. Overheats at times. Heats up quickly. Nice camera and fingerprint sensor at the back. Screen is a decent size.
