Cleans Paint roller covers like a charm.
I first saw one of these in use on a YOUTUBE video and could not believe how well it removes paint from roller covers and the gunk in brushes. You also want to get a spinner tool that woks like an old yankee screwdriver and flings the remaining paint out of brushes and roller covers. I bought some expensive roller covers for a recent paint job and wnated to keep them if possible for future paint jobs. I watched the video and got one of these along with the spinner tool and my roller covers look amazing. I have now cleaned them 3 times and I am sure I will get a lot of use out of these quality lambs wool covers. This tool is worth every penny. Cleaning the paint out of the roller covers is a snap and it will save you the costs of new roller covers if you take the time to clean them. I used to toss them after each job but now the cleaning is made simple.

Great for cleaning paint brushes
Quality paint brushes can be expensive. This little comb has made cleaning out my paint brushes so much easier. We are in the process of painting all of the trim in our home and have used it daily to clean and preserve our paint brushes. I highly recommend this item. The quality is good and will last for many, many years and painting projects. Great value to help preserve pricey paint brushes.

Very sturdy!
I do like the all metal design, it has proven to be much more rigid/sturdy compared to others that I have owned in the past! At times it seems like it don’t comb out some brushes as well as the combs with a little bit thinner of “bristles” but It works at getting my brushes cleaned out which is good enough for me! The roller squeegee works well on my rollers that have naps on them, it doesn’t work quite as well on foam rollers as I have found that it is a lot easier to rip them compared to some of the rubber ones I have used in the past, but given the all metal design, this is to be expected! There are a couple of improvements I can think of but when considering this price point, I really don’t know how you could do any better to be honest! I would definitely recommend this!

Quickly deep cleans my paint brushes
While I don't mind tossing out rollers, I spent good money on some of my new paint brushes and I wanted to ensure I could keep them in great shape for a long time. This comb does a terrific job of getting deep into the bristles and pulling out paint. It's faster, easier, and more thorough than cleaning a brush by hand. Highly recommended.

You probably don't know you need this (but you do!)
This tool makes it possible to clean a brush in about 60 seconds with some running water. Holy cow does it save time and water! When you're done cleaning the paint out of the brush, you can comb it to restore its shape and keep it in good order. I'm amazed at how well this cleans paint that gets up high in the bristles. I haven't tried the curved roller portion. I don't think rollers are worth it to clean in the first place so I'll continue to toss those. This is so inexpensive (especially compared to a good brush) it's insane that you don't have one.

If you won't comb your hair, you still might want to comb your brush
I'll be the first to admit that painting is a messy business -- the biggest hassle being cleanup. But if you spend money on good brushes (and you should), it's worth investing in this painter's tool. The comb part is finer, and not as harsh as the one I picked up at our local Ace Hardware store (the metal part of the latter being stamped, so it had sharp edges that would damage the brush's bristles). One additional feature of the tool is that it has two curved sections -- one for standard-diameter roller covers and one for the smaller ~1/2 inch variety Well-made, and should last a lifetime -- at least for as much more painting that I'll do.
