Poor fabrication quality, you have to do your homework to make it works
I had this Nvme Samsung 256Gb and wanted a case. After looking around I choose this one but it was not really a good choice.I install the hdd inside the case with no problem even if the case is poorly manufactured, one side of the case is bigger than the other one.I begin to have problem after connecting it to my computer, it was connecting, disconnecting, not really usable, I try it on several computer and same thing, I try it on my nvidia shield tv and same thing. So I decide to take a look, I though perhaps a bad contact and I was right, if you cheek the image "before" you will see that none of the pins are really soldered to the board, I redo all the soldering on the connector , image "after" and start testing and it works, no more disconnection, until now...., speed is correct for USB3So the reason for the one star rating is that I had to do the job of the company who build it and didn't do any quality control on it

It works, and works
I purchased another brand of NVME enclosure and it worked...for a while and then could not be read on that USB port, so I switched it to another port on my portable....and it worked for a while, and then didn't. So I switched it to my last port. Same story. It seemed that if I rebooted my computer for any reason, that port with that prior enclosure would stop functioning. I tried everything to remedy the problem (different cables, uninstall/install drivers). So I spent some more $ and bought the Sintech and it works, and works, and works. No problems after several months.

Perfect for Dell XPS 13 9360
Need to tweak bios on 9360, cloned from 128GB with Acronis and booted up flawlessly.

Poor quality enclosure
Transfer works ok but the enclosure is bad. Came with lots of dings and dents in the metal enclosure. There are scratches that go through the coating to see the silver metal underneath. The top and bottom don't seem to align well. It also does not come with a usb-c to usb-c cable so it makes it cumbersome for MacBook users.I would not recommend it, just spend a little more and get a higher quality enclosure with a usb-c cable.

Slim case that works
It works fine with my M.2 but the cable is kind of stiff. After a couple months of light usage the rubber layer breaks a bit. Overall, it's worth the money
