Amazon Basics Replacement LG LT700P Refrigerator Water Filter Cartridge - Pack of 3, Premium Filtration

I bought the top teir filter. My fridge's indicator for the filter was blinking, and I knew it was time to shell out good money for a new filter.This lg fridge came with my house. I know a good filter for my old fridge can be bought for $30. Not lg! It was like $50 for a new LG filter.In my area the lead in water is quite high. It's high enough that the only way it's "ok" by federal standards is to average all the samples for the year. Even then the avg is only like 2-5% below the max. Btw I don't live near flint MI. Which means some of the samples for lead is over the max amount. It's even specified that the number recorded doesent include any lead in your household pipes. I have kids, I can't have them drinking lead water.In short need a filter that filters out lead. Most of the random cheapo brands don't specify if they do. So I'm not going to buy them for my family.I'm quite relieved that a brand like Amazon sells filters for my LG and they are even certified to filter lead and other harmful stuff out of the water. At a great price. I think I paid the full $23. Still better than $50.I've had this filter in for a week. The water appears clearer and flow is slightly better than the old filter. I noticed no leaks from the seals as of yet.Good product and I'll keep buying them until quality goes downhill or my kid tests positive for lead.

The filter arrived quickly and was easy to install, which was a big plus.Now, onto the performance. I've noticed a significant improvement in the taste and odor of our drinking water. The filtered water is crisp and refreshing, with no lingering odors or aftertastes. The ice cubes also seem to be clearer and less prone to cloudiness than they were with the old filter.Another benefit of this filter is that it's easy to clean and maintain. The manufacturer recommends replacing it every 6 months, which is a relatively short lifespan compared to some other filters on the market. However, I've found that it's still effective even after 6 months, so I may end up getting more use out of it than expected.

Way less expensive than the oem and work great. We were a bit overdue for replacing our filter. Purchased these and replaced and it made a world of difference. Great fit.

I shopped and shopped around for a OEM filter at a decent price. The ones from LG cost around $49.99, and even though you can get them on Amazon for less, the product reviews are plagued with allegations of the products being fake.I ordered this due to the price and the fact that its technically one step more efficient than the standard filter that comes with the fridge. Super easy install and after running the required 5 gallons through the filter, water is sparkling clean and tastes great.Simple, works and great cost. Will reorder every 6 months as required.UPDATE:***********Its now been 2 months and this filter still has no/great taste! The flow has so far stayed the exact same and we are truly enjoying it. I am surprised by the quality at the cost! Thumbs up Aamzon!

I initially spent a lot of money purchasing all LG water filters and they leaked. I tried these generic Amazon filters for much less money and they work. No more leaks!!

Based on a few reviews that mentioned leaks or low flow after a short time period, I ordered one filter to try it out. So far, so good! No leaks from our LG LFX25978ST fridge’s filter location. The nipple did appear slightly shorter and fatter than the replacement. That didn’t seem to cause and fit or leak issues.The water tastes ... fine? Not sure I can tell much difference from the previous filters. No unusual or mineral tastes. Flow rate seems as before - only been installed a few days. Will update if flow rate reduces.Besides the excellent price, I like that the premium versions of these filters conform to three NSF standards, not just the two of the OEM filter. If these do as they say and hold up over their six month cycle, this will be our go-to source for replacement filters.
