Black Paisley Lanyard Breakaway Neck Strap ID Holder (Black Paisley)

This is one stylish lanyard! It’s a gray & black paisley pattern, kinda thick, kinda sturdy, not too long. The end part where your ID badge disconnects so you can remove the badge to swipe it on a parking garage entrance, or show to the cops (if proper photo is required.). It has a quick connect in the back so you don’t have to pull it over your head in case you have a head the size of a cinder block with a package of hot dogs on the back of your head. Instead it’ll quickly disconnect in case you get it caught in a fan belt or if someone tries to strangle you with it over a plate of spaghetti and a business deal gone awry. It looks swank and matches most ties so you don’t stand out like you’re wearing your employee ID badge while standing around in the break room at your job at the rectal shield factory. Instead, you’ll look like the manager of the rectal shield factory. Kudos to the black paisley lanyard!

As an educator, the breakaway feature is a definite safety bonus! I also love that the bottom can snap off if I need to scan my card. Being able to put my badge in the pocket has kept it nice as well. Usually I just clip the metal piece to my badge and then the thin plastic at the top of the badge breaks. The badge holder on this lanyard has COMPLETELY solved that problem! It’s also made from nice quality materials, particularly the badge holder, which doesn’t feel like the traditional cheap plastic that most badge holders use. I highly recommend this!

This would be a perfect product EXCEPT the strange cloth material (which is something like ribbon but thicker) is sharp and rough on the edges, which really irritates my neck all day long. However, I love the 2 breakaway locations on the lanyard, and it's really strong. I might throw it in the wash a couple times to see if those edges soften up. They really hurt!!

Just didn’t like it - the ribbon was too wide and itchy on my neck and the breakaway function wasn’t quick enough for my preference.

I sent it back. It was nice...I just didn't like the width of it on my neck.

I have used this for 6 weeks and it is already broken, as in, the clasp disconnects on its own. I am very disappointed that Amazon would carry/support such a flimsy, poorly made product!
