CHARD 5 Tray Food Dehydrator, 15.157 inches X 12.008 inches, Gray

i am new to dehydrating my foods. this is the first and only dehydrator i have owned, so far. i have nothing else to compare it too. food seems to take 24 hours or more. my dried vegetables and fruits do not appear to be as dry as the "chips" i buy in the store. if you are using it during hot and humid summer months, it will not operate correctly. i learned this after many hours of trying to dry out banana chips. right now using it is on hold until the the humidity clears.

This is our 2nd one of this model, the 1st one got wet but still works ok.

Digital timer was messed up when I received it. Some. Umbers would show and some wouldn’t

Worked for ten minutes then stopped heating. This is the second one that I've bought and both did the same thing.

I bought this dehydrator at my local Rural King store years ago. I used it randomly a few times the first couple years, and it seemed to work ok. I typically needed more time than the paperwork suggested. Fast forward a couple more years and now everything seems to be operating, but it won't dehydrate. It looks like new. I've had it many years, and used it, maybe 10 times total. I'm very disappointed.

I like some of the other reviews had used it twice it no longer heats digital, timer work fine but will have to throw it out as it's two yrs. Old. Will purchase something else
