TreeWorks Chimes Bar Mounting Clamp and Chime Holding Bracket — Made in U.S.A. — Fits Any Stand, Steel (TRE52)

All TreeWorks stuff is great. This is our third purchase - always packaged wonderfully in their signature black tubes - we got this to mount the Echo Tree chimes we received as a Christmas gift. Easy to assemble/attach and very secure. Our question had been what kind of stand is most appropriate. A cymbal stand, perhaps? We're using a mic stand and adjusted the bracket so that it's mounted not too high because the weight of the chimes and bracket make it a bit top heavy, at least on a mic stand. So, possibly a cymbal stand is more optimal, although this set up is working right now for our purposes (recording).

Love this. Right when I got my chimes, I rigged a mount out of an old cowbell stand, and then waited anxiously for my real-deal TreeWork mount to come. It works great. I'm a stage storyteller and I use a lot of percussion instruments in my act. This mount sturdily suspends my tree right in front of me, right on my mic stand. Perfect. Love the chimes, love the mount.

This is going to make mounting my chimes much easier and way more official...not to mention save space. Good deal too especially considering stores are the same price but only carry them in select cities. Who wants to drive 3 hours when you can have it shipped to you?! Also LOVE their chimes. So much better than the brass ones I borrowed from a colleague!

Well made, sturdy, good design that could be made great with the addition of a tilter. On my kit, the best place to mount it would have been on a cymbal boom arm, underneath a crash cymbal. But because there is no tilting mechanism I ended up using it on a straight stand in a slightly less optimal position. Still, another quality product from TreeWorks that functions well and has the reliability that pros require.

This is well built and holds my bar chimes securely on upright of a cymbal stand. The wing nuts are nice and large and comfortable to tighten. Good piece of hardware.

Gets the job done but I would prefer a standard percussion mounting bolt that fills the hole that is drilled in the TreeWorks Chimes products as well as thicker felts. I may replace these with some Gibraltar hardware parts.
