Canon Mount Adapter EF-EOS R

I just upgraded to an R6ii from a 5Diii, and needed this adaptor to use my EF-L lenses with the new camera. I was nervous my lenses would have a loss in quality, but on the contrary they are actually performing better than ever. A lot of that has to do with the camera, because the R6ii is incredibly fast, but it's amazing to have an adaptor that gives no loss in quality and just flawlessly connects the EF lenses to the R system. I have had ZERO issues with connection, everything connects just like a lens connects straight to the camera. I have two L lenses, so I just keep the adaptor on the camera body and swap out the lenses to the adaptor as if they were connecting straight to the camera.The adaptor does add length, obviously, but the weight isn't that significant. If you're like me and have a heavy 70-200 lens, it works perfectly, but because of the extra length on an already long and heavy lens, I am careful when carrying because I don't want it just dangling on the adaptor/camera. The adaptor does connect tightly with no wiggle though, so it is safe if you do let the camera hang to your side with the lens, I'd just take precaution. Better to be safe than sorry.Honestly, I couldn't be happier. For the price, this is truly a great deal. $100 to make my expensive L lenses work with the new camera? Perfect! Definitely beats having to upgrade to even more expensive lenses right now. I did a lot of research on the three different Canon brand adaptors, and out of the three, this one was the best choice for me and was the cheapest as well which was a plus!If you're on the fence between the three different adaptors, I'd really recommend this one. Unless you really need an extra control ring (that's awkwardly placed), or drop in filters (that are very expensive), this is such a great price and works flawlessly!

I bought a telephoto photo lens only to discover that I needed the adapter to be able to attach the lens onto my camera. A little frustrated I went online and I searched and I found that this company had a fair price and the lens arrived in two days. I couldn’t have been happier and it fits perfectly. Had an off brand adapter that worked fine between my old EF lens and my R8 just to try it. But, before my trip to France I bought an EF 70-300 IS II USM for my R8 and bought this to make absolutely sure I would not have any adapter problems ruining my photos.It works. And though it is more expensive that the off brands, the peace of mind was worth it to me.

Great adapter! I was purchasing the EOS R6 Mark II for a photo shoot in two days, but the local shops did not have the adapter. I was able to purchase off Amazon and get overnight shipping to make my shoot in time! Highly recommend using the legacy EF lenses from your Canon DSLR. No compatibility issues and save money over the R lenses if you have a collection you used on your Canon 5D for instance. The adapter doesn't impact the picture quality or autofocus in any way.
