Sogeval Douxo Chlorhexidine PS Shampoo, 16.9-Ounce

I am hopeful that this product will be stocked again soon as it is the only shampoo that I have found that keeps my dog from getting follicular bacterial infections due to her wirey fur AND gets her clean. This shampoo (and matching mousse) was recommended by her dermatologist a couple years ago and we have bought it religiously since. Despite the rising price, we have remained loyal to this brand and seller. However, we are down to the last few drops and hoping it will be carried through this seller again (and hopefully not at an exorbitant price)Because this has been out of stock I pur hated another item on Amazon that was well rated; however, the new item doesn't clean my dog as well as this. This shampoo ensures my dog doesn't get red bumps all over from her hair follicles getting infected, it leaves her squeaky clean and smelling devine! The new shampoo I purchased leaves dirt in her fur despite multiple applications and this unacceptable as my dog hikes with me often and my apartment has cream carpets.PLEASE RESTOCK THIS ITEM SOON 🙏

I really love this product for my dog. My dog has iMHA and her Internal Medicine Vet recommended when on prednisone for a long time to restore and protect her skin from external environment invading her and affecting her immune system. Also used when bumps started from lower back to neck. Had to put this on her skin all over body in bath leg deep for 10 minutes every other day. The bumps cleared up in a week. I used 1-2 week for following 2 weeks just to make sure gone. Reliable and works and safe for immune disease.

Our 10yo Chocolate Lab had these issues that this shampoo fixed:- hair falling out, she had a rat tail :(- scratching herself- unable to sleep a goodnight without waking up all the time to scratch- biting her legs till rawOur Vet recommended this and we saw results after a week. Washed her twice a week, let the shampoo sit in coat/skin for 10mins. I recommended this to all of my dog friends. My doggy can now be more at rest. “Imagine being itchy for 24/7” I felt bad for our dog.+ hair is now fuller than it’s ever been and we get compliments of how nice and thick her coat and tail is from complete strangers+ it cut down the scratching 95%+ sleeps better and no longer restless at night+ stopped biting her legs and all the hair grew back around there

Our vet suggested this for our Shar Pei mix that has extreme skin allergies. We use this every 3 days and he has improved dramatically. Much less itching, smells better, and his hair has grown mack in most places. If we miss bath day by 1 day it is very noticable. You HAVE to let it sit once its lathered up on the dog. We find this is easiest to do if we feed the dog small scoops of peanut butter while he soaks. I have recommenede this to a friend for their dog with similar issues and they can't believe how well it works! It's pricey but SO worth it.

Helps my blue Dobermans skin issues! This dog is a mess. Allergies. She has a very thin coat due to her blue diluted color. Her skin gets smelly without regular baths and she will get puss filled sores. For some reason the fragrance in it doesn’t seem to bother her skin. We’ve been using this every 1-2 weeks for years. Help to keep her less stinky and less itchy! We also add a few France free conditioner to help moisturize her skin after the bath. We won’t ever run out. Wish the bottle didn’t dispense so much when you squeeze. It is also quite spendy.

My dog had patches of scabby skin every now and then and I am not sure what causes it. I used this shampoo recommended by the vet and it cleared it up. The smell is nice and it makes my dog's fur soft. The shampoo is great but I had issues with the bottle. I ordered it 3 times online and 2 out of the three times, the bottle was received damaged and leaking. The third time, it was wrapped well from a different vendor and so it was received without damage. However, when I accidentally knocked the bottle off the table, the bottle cracked and I lost half the shampoo. The bottle is plastic but is brittle so it cracks easily. Was so disappointed since the shampoo is relatively expensive.

This product is a must if your dog suffers from chronic skin yeast infections especially during the summer. While bathing this shampoo helps loosen the 'crust' that forms on your dogs skin so you can pick them offin the tub. Your dog will be happy, when dry make sure to use the spray product to keep the yeast under control. My springer spaniel is happy again since he doesn't have to deal with those oily, itchy, cruddy patches on him.

I am very glad that I came across this product line for my dog. She has been having a severe staph infection on her body all over and her vet suggested this product line because it's 4% chlorhexidine and has an ingredient in it to take care of any fungal infection as well. It also has an ingredient that moisturizes the dog's skin too. I am very satisfied with this product and the mousse and spray to use between baths.
