... wireless controller for the xbox but its not the best in ergonomics and the d pad does work pretty ...
4 stars for being the only wireless controller for the xbox but its not the best in ergonomics and the d pad does work pretty well but takes a little getting used to. the wideness of the controller is good but the two ends where you really grip in ruins the design for smaller handed people. if you have shaq hands this controller would be perfect but then again it does make you flex your forearms more so I guess its not too bad. and the receiver isn't just a small dongle that plugs in like ps2 and gamecube, and they actually have a button on the controller to turn on and off the rumble lol. but overall I would recommend this controller over any wired xbox controller and I would buy again, actually im going to get 3 more so I can be fully wireless.

Nice.
Not much to say. Wireless controller for the original xbox. It's by Logitech, so the thumbpads are exceptional. The buttons however sometimes feel a little sloppy, which is surprising from Logitech, But it's not significant. It's a good solid feeling and well playing controller. Worth getting if you have an original xbox.

Great....while it lasts
I've had two of these and both have given me trouble. I love the feel of them, very comfortable, nice weight, the controls feel very tight, no wireless lag, good vibration, good battery life. I bought them used, so there's no telling how much use they had before me, but I only got about 6 months or so with each and they started to malfunction. One of them had a trigger which began to stick and it got so bad it permanently registered as pressed. The other had the left thumbstick start to stick in a downward movement. I think most of the problem is because the triggers and thumbsticks are very sensitive so once they begin to wear out just a little they end up sending a false signal. So beware if you want one, I do think it's an excellent controller while it works, but there's a chance that might not be for long.

Total piece of garbage
Took three weeks to finally receive this thing. When it arrived it took about three tries to finally get started. Then once you tried to play a game, the joystick only moved in the down direction. If you try to order one of these controllers, you better be careful where you get it from. Needless to say I will be returning mine.

It's just not that good
I expected a quality product from Logitech, instead I got a controller that is impossible to use for games. The buttons and d-pad either don't register or register multiple clicks, SUPER ANNOYING

Not perfect
This controller has a good price, trustworthy brand, looks good, and feels nice. The long battery life is really what got me hooked on it in the first place. There are some issues though. The buttons are difficult to hold. This might either be a transmission issue, or a component contact issue within the controller, but I suspect it's a combination of both. So for games where you have to hold down a button to do something, it's likely that when you're in a rush, you will have to redo that several times 'cause you didn't hold down the button hard enough. Also, when the Xbox is running, the the green LED light on the receiver is constantly flashing, even if I'm playing a DVD, so it can be distracting. Good thing that you can hide it away, but when you're playing games, you want that visual feedback to check that the receiver is getting the transmissions right. The black and white buttons are awkward, but even more awkward are the Back and Start button. They feel squishy and uncertain. I like the Microsoft S controller a lot with the clicking action, so I am not a big fan of this implementation. But it does do its job, and hence deserves a high rating.

Needed recalibration, works great now
When I received this controller, the sticks pulled off in the wrong direction. After doing a quick search online, I found out how to recalibrate:1. Remove one battery.2. Hold the Left Trigger and Start buttons while re-inserting the battery. (NOTE: Do not touch or move the mini-joysticks at all during this time. It is very important that the mini joysticks are allowed to center themselves during this step or the calibration procedure will not be successful.)Worked like a charm, and the controller works perfectly.

Nice size, Not so nice mechanics
I've not had too many wireless controllers for anything, but this one would probably win the award for nicest by far. It's smaller than the original Logitech incarnation, thereby more comfortable to hold (although still not as good as a regular old S). The buttons are laid out more like the S controller, so it's easy to get familiar with it. I, personally, don't care about the rumble feature, and to preserve battery life, I turn it off anyway.I do, however, have a few beefs with this controller. First of all, the wireless unit which attaches to the XBox itself does not have an inline break in it for inline break extension cords. Why, you ask, would you need an extension cord for a wireless controller? So I can use it with XBox Live, that's why! I'm not spending $80 on a wireless headset. Instead, I'm stuck using my S controller to play on Live.My second problem with this controller, and I don't know if this is just mine or all of them, is that the buttons really have to be HIT for them to respond. Your typical tap won't cut it. I think this is a battery saving feature, to prevent the buttons from being pressed uneccesarily when not in use, but it sure does make using the controller a pain.Overall, if you need a wireless solution, this is it. But, my favorite controller remains the good old S.
