Did the job no probs

It’s an okay bit of kit, good enough for occasional DIY but as a few have said already, it’s not garage quality. If you are likely to use it a lot I would go better. That said i like the fact it comes with adapters to fit a few different options & even a smooth disc to push in the ordinary pistons.

Bought this to assist me with changing the rear discs and pads on an Audi A4 Avant 2005. Worked like an absolute dream and made the job a breeze. I did the same job a couple of years ago on my last Audi A4 (2006) and I didn’t have the right tool then - the job took all day for all 4 corners and I ended up giving up on the final one and getting a garage to finish the job. This time with the correct tool, the rear brakes were done in about 3 hours, working at a gentle pace out on the road on Jack stands and the floor. I will be doing all my own brakes again from now on after paying through the nose last time after the ordeal I went through on my previous Audi. When you have the right tools for a job it does make it much more pleasant, and even enjoyable if you are strange like me!

When a rear calliper seized on my Transporter I found out I needed one of these tools to wind the piston back in having tried a number of none-damaging workarounds that didn't work ! This tool does the job allowing even a stuck/seized piston to be moved back. I did have to use a bit of ugga dugga on it initially which it survived.

Although it done the job, it slipped out of the calliper while turning back the piston
