Steve Backshall's Deadly 60

Filled with information. It is full of information about a variety of animals it helps make wildlife interesting for young readers. The photos make it a real page turner. It`s clear that information from the show has been taken and put into this book.Unfortunately I am not one for insects and considering this is full of pictures of him and these insects I am unable to comment any further as if looked in the book I am sure stress would rule the house.

This is a pretty awesome book!My 7-year old son has recently done The Deadly 60 as a topic at his school and this book was an ideal buy for him. The pages are bright and colourful with some excellent photographs of all the deadly 60 creatures - and the accompanying narrative is informative and entertaining.I highly recommend this book to any budding Steves out there - its now a go-to book on my son's bookcase!

My son (6.5) loves this, although there is a lot of writing on the pages, so when he wants me to read it to him, I give him a summary!! :-)

I have bought this book for my 8 year old nephew, 6 year old son and my 5 year old nephew also - all of them are BIG deadly 60 fans (as am I). I love Steve's enthusiasm for his subject matter and the stories in this book are good. My son loves to sit and read this, and compare which animals have the deadliest rating. I am suprised the BBC havn't made more of this series it is a fav for most boys I know.

My 9 year old son is a huge fan of the tv show so I bought the book for his birthday. He hasn't put it down since. It is full of information and is A4 format. Such a great hit we bought it for one of his cousins for christmas.

Fantastic book! My son is currently studying the Deadly 60 at school and this book has been fantastic in sparking more interest. It is easy to read and full of wonderful facts and pictures. Definitely recommended!
