Was way too much money: I bought 2 pairs, 1 Black and 1 Brown - MY MISTAKE
I've been wearing Rocport Sandals for many yrs., at least 20 yrs or more. When ever I'd buy a pair, I always bought 2 pair, one black and, one brown pair and, by far this particular model were the lousiest I've ever owned, so uncomfortable and they made my feet slip-n-slide while wearing them and, for obvious reasons, I've decided not to wear them anymore cuz I'm afraid I'll fall in them. I had 2 hip replacements on the same side and I've also had a high number of spine surgeries, I can't afford to fall. Anyway, I thought I was paying $49.99 and they were actually $89.99, way too much!! If I remember correctly, I bought them a day or two late for the $49.99 sale price. Irregardless I kept them cuz I needed them. I wished I'd have returned both of the black and brown pair and got my money back for a different model of Rockports I love Rockports. I was so disappointed in the quality, especially the part your foot seats in ALL DAY!! My Feet would actually turn numb and, just by these sandals. My older Rockports were fine. So uncomfortable, the bottom of my feet ached only after a few hours, doesn't matter, black or brown. Please include this review for both pair.Thank You,Joe GuadagninoAmazon Prime Member

Quality sandal but sizing off
UPDATE REVIEW...The pair I ordered two sizes smaller fit perfectly. Same great quality and comfort now that they fit I am upgrading my original review from 3 star to 5 star.The quality and comfort was so good I did not want to give a 1 star but the sizing was way off. I ordered a size 13, which I always wear in every shoe, boot, and sandal, but this fit more like a size 15 or larger. I returned it and ordered a size 11 and that fit perfectly. I would recommend these sandals as they are very comfortable and of good quality but for me, I had to order 2 sizes small.

The Rockport sandals aren't what they used to be...
I have worn Rockport sandals for years. It was always easy to find a sandal that would fit my 12 EEE foot. This doesn't seem to be the case any more. The sizes vary widely (no pun intended) and the quality seems to have gone downhill. I ended up ordering a much more expensive sandal from another manufacturer - they fit perfectly and are well-made.

They fit my feet perfectly and because the front strap does not have a gap on the side I no longer have to deal with pain in my pinky toe.

Fully adjustable, too!
My husband has a wide foot, these came in "wide"-plus, all the straps are adjustable. He gets a "custom" fit. And, they are black, most of his shorts are black-so, all is good! I will buy them again.

Protects hubby's feet just as expected.
I hate velcro, since it eventually strips out, but it does allow adjustment for swelling.

Fathers Day gift for my husband. He really likes them. To be funny he put them on with socks (not in public). lol
