Alien vs Predator Hot Toys Deluxe 12" Chopper Predator

This is such a amazing piece,and I am so lucky I got it for the price which is way lower for what it is being advertised now.You do have to do some assembling as far as putting the head,body armor,blades,shin armor,skull trophy's,and feet.It is very top heavy,and when I realized that it is the feet,and legs that support most of the weight,and not the display stand I new I may have a problem because the ankle joint is damaged.It was described that way by the seller so I tried to fix a jury rig for it but I might have to go onto Ebay to get a new ankle peg replacement which is only $20 dollars plus shipping.The amount of detail to this piece is beyond words,and yes the helmet does come off to reveal the predators face which is really a great thing by Hot Toys since you never see his face in the AVP movie,and he was killed in the first twenty minuets of the film.The part I like the most about the appearance of the AVP hunters is there armor,it is almost infantry like in the way it is desighned,and the way it covers most of the body.The mobility of the figure is limited becasuse of all the armor,and the super thick dread locks which adds great realism but does in some ways limit how you can pose him.I am very greatful to the seller for selling me this amazing piece of sci fi cinematic history,and he now is diplayed in my collection amongst the other predator figures that I have.

I chose this rating because of the awsome realistic features of this figure. I recommend this figure to all who collect Predator figures.

This amazingly detailed model kit from Hot Toys is one of the best toys to grace this license that I have ever seen. From the pitting on his scaled battle armor to the real cloth mesh of his body suit, to the small alien skulls on the string around his nech, this figure will have you in awe of the painstaking craftsmanship that went into its design. It is truly a marvel of modern toymaking.

Whilst this is an awesome figure, a $1000 price tag is lunacy, wait for the remake of these by hot toys, this guy was only $150 when first released.
