Excellent item, used this to upgrade my PS4 hard drive, works perfectly and has a noticeable positive affect on loading times. Would defiantly recommend.

I bought a FireCuda as I had to replace the stock HDD on my PS4 which corrupted. After just over a month of use, I'm really pleased with it. It was easy to install, only took me about 5 minutes. I wasn't expecting much difference from the stock HDD to be honest other than my PS4 would actually work properly and maybe some games would load faster, so the FireCuda has surprised me in the performance boost it has given to my PS4. Loading up my PS4 feels much faster than it did before. The game I've played most extensively since installing the FireCuda is Jedi Fallen Order. Before, it performed quite sluggishly at times on my PS4 - occasionally freezing for a few seconds, cut-scenes would sometimes jar, and the audio would often go out of sync. That doesn't happen anymore and the game feels much smoother and enjoyable for it. So would definitely recommend this for PS4 based on my experience after a few weeks of use.

It was all fine till about 4 months down the line it started to freeze and started to slow down and not load stuff probably or pick up good picture quality in games on my PS4 slim, so I restarted my PS4 and then it said checking system storage and then failed at 20% and said I had reinstall Sony system software, so I did once I got through a few steps it said checking System storage and failed again so I gather the hard drive broke witch means I would have to buy another and install everything again like I did when I first brought the hard drive. Other than that it was all fine and loaded my games really fast compared to standard, I am now moving to pc so I have not bothered getting another

Bought this to replace a corrupted internal drive on a day one PS4 ..easy to fit doubled the storage ..once fitted gave about 850GB of space its early days.. I found the product adapted intiallly "slow" but with use an improved speed of system which was an added bonus at great price it is a hybid drive "abit"of SSD and HDD..just if you are purchasing an internal drive it needs to be 2.5 inches/whatever metric?..really easy to change an PS4 as Sony designed the console to upgraded drive with nothing else but alittle knowledge and a philips screwdriver

I use these as a bare drive in a drive dock to incrementally back up my two laptops (one Windows and another macOS). As with any hard drive, the marks of quality are longevity, speed and accuracy. So far, they have worked accurately as expected for a week. If they fail prematurely, I’m sure I will update my review. I thought the price was decent for a 7,200 RPM 2.5” 1TB HDD. It’s hard for me to buy into the “SSHD” branding - this is far from as fast as a real SSD, I don’t see any speed advantage with whatever small portion of the drive is solid state, and I would never use it as a primary gaming drive. For a backup drive operating in the background, it’s fine. (After using SSDs for so long, one forgets how slow HDDs really are. Maybe this is much faster than a standard 7,200 RPM HDD but my subjective frame of reference is so far off now. And I haven’t spent the time to objectively speed test them.) If I’m using a drive for any primary purpose, I’d pony up the extra cash for a SSD - the significant speed savings of a SSD is worth the extra money. The price on these drives seems to fluctuate more than most products on Amazon, so that plays into the value equation. Today, the cost is 30% more than when I bought them a week ago. That sort of increase would push me to look at alternatives, of which there are many. Plenty of people are very loyal to specific HDD brands due to good or bad past experiences. I’ve had both types of experiences with every brand around, so it usually comes down to price for similar specs unless there’s a clear manufacturing defect with a specific batch of drives. If I can get these at or under the amount I paid and they continue to hold up, I will probably keep buying them.

Quería actualizar y darle un segundo aire a mi laptop (Core i3, con 4gb de RAM); estaba con la idea de comprar una unidad de estado solido, después de investigar encontré que los SSD tienen una vida más corta comparándolas con un disco duro mecánico ya que los SSD tienen un número corto (no encontré cuántos) de operaciones de lectura y escritura, descubrí los discos duros híbridos y encontré que es un disco duro mecánico con tecnología de SSD que mejora la velocidad de escritua y lectura con los archivo y/o programas que más usas; no tiene división de memoria (mitad SSD y mitad HDD) cómo muchos creen. Este disco mejoro la velocidad de mi computadora no como un SSD pero si ayuda además de un precio más bajo.

So far works as described. The problem most people have is they dont know they need to format the drive first So it wont show up until it's been formatted. I plugged it in formatted it an has great speed an stability

Installer dans un PC gamer sans aucun problème. Fonctionnement ok pour le moment. Fiabilité à voir dans le temps.
