I have worked bird rescue with the Humane Society for the past 30 years. The best way to answer your question is; all humans are not alike, that also goes for our feathered friends.This product works fairly well with our sun conure and other birds. Try to buy the right size. Our conure wanted babies badly. Our avian vet informed us not to removed her fake eggs too soon, or she would continue to lay which could be a problem. Make sure that you place the right amount of eggs a clutch has under your hen while she is off the nest. Replace them as she lays them. She will become disinterested in them in her own time. As long as she is eating regular, great! Also keep watch on her stool and general health. Offer her time out with you but let her return to her eggs when she wants back. Hope this is a help.
