VTech Soothing Slumbers Bedtime Bear-Pink

THIS IS AMAZING,, FOR ANYONE WITH A BABY OR TODDLER, THIS IS ADORABLE AND SO LESS EXPENSIVE THEN MANY OTHERS THAT DO NOT WORK HALF AS WELL. I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY THREE MONTH OLD GRANDDAUGHTER AND SHE IS JUST STARTING TO LAUGH, WELL SHE LAUGHS AT THIS AND REALLY LOVES IT. IT NOT ONLY PLAYS SO MANY SONGS IT TALKS TO HER ALSO WITH GOODNIGHT, I LOVE YOU, TELLING HER IT IS SLEEPY.. I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS,, I HAVE BOUGHT MANY OTHERS AND SPENT WAY MORE,, THIS IS BETTER THEN ALL OF THEM..LOVE IT AND RECCOMEND IT HIGHLY.

We bought this to replace another lullaby-playing bear we got at the local kids' market sale that did not have replaceable batteries. The soothing sounds and songs this bear plays are appropriate for naps and bedtime. I was afraid the spoken phrases would be jarring when she rolls over on it in her sleep (and she does), since the bear seems fairly loud for a bedtime toy. So far, that doesn't seem to cause a problem. Our daughter is not the heaviest sleeper, but it doesn't seem to wake her. On the contrary, this bear often keeps her soothed so that she goes back to sleep easily. This is the only bedtime accompaniment that our daughter treats as importantly as "her baby," which goes with us everywhere. I think that makes it a 5-star product in her book. Who am I to argue with the target audience?

My daughter absolutely loves this bear. She is 20 months old and we found this bear when she was 18 months. My mother in law had one at her house and my daughter loved it so much I had to get one for her. She knows that to play music she presses the star. Batteries last a while because we have only had to change it once and it gets played a lot! The velcro on the back doesn't stay put well but I think that is partly due to my daughter constantly opening it up after I close it.

My three month old falls asleep to this bear often while in her swing, which is nice because normally she only falls asleep after eating. Also, the light up star is a nice touch. One thing I would like to add though, is even though there are two volume settings, the lowest setting still seems pretty loud at night when everything is quiet, so my daughter would end up rolling onto it while sleeping and it would wake me up and she would stir. Update 3/3/2015: Now five and a half months old, my daughter will see this toy and smile at it, just like she smiles at a person! She's grown attached to this little cutie and also enjoys gumming on its ears now.

I haven't given this to my daughter yet, as it's a Christmas gift, but this bear is really cute and seems to be well made. I'm impressed by the range of songs and sounds it makes even in the test setting. In addition, the glowing belly is really cute – not too bright or dim. Just a really warm glow that makes it look perfectly huggable. As always, Amazon had the best price on this item. I've seen it in other stores for twice the cost here. Great deal!

This was a baby shower gift and I didn't start using it until my daughter was a few months old but she has grown to LOVE this bear very dearly and she falls asleep to the lullaby's and often plays it in the morning to let us know she's awake. Now she's 15 months and she uses it EVERY night. We even brought it with us on vacation to help soothe her in unfamiliar surroundings and it worked like a charm. I love this bear and often find myself singing the lullaby's. I bought another as a backup because this bear isn't going anywhere anytime soon :)

Does not work. Purchased as replacement to the one we have had for the last couple years. Took it out of box (which I threw away) and loaded the batteries.... didn't work... took those new batteries out and loaded replacements (ensuring they were positioned properly)....still not working.... threw out the box so can't returned. Pretty bummed.

I purchased this bear for the grandkids and got the pink one because my grandson had the blue one. Both kids love this bear. Both are under a year and carry this bear around ALOT! It plays music that have been around awhile so now a new generation has been exposed to it. Only thing I fault is the velcro fastening on the back opens very easy and the "guts" aka music box is pulled on.

A wonderful little bear for a baby to play and go to sleep with. We bought Little Bear for our granddaughter when she was just one month old. She is now 13 months and still is delighted to see her little friend in her crib when she goes to bed for her nap or for the night. She learned quite early how to turn the soothing music on and off and Little Bear lulls her to sleep. When she falls asleep, I usually move Little Bear to the change table beside her crib so when our granddaughter awakens, she can reach for her. I always know she has her when she laughs , pushes her button to turn on the music and happily talks and sings with her. Our granddaughter is so attached to this adorable toy that when she travels with her parents to England to visit my son-in-law's family, she has to go with her. My daughter will not travel without her. Consequently, I have purchased two! I expect she will love this bear for many years to come.

We already have the blue version of this bear. Now my toddler has it's mate! Great variety of songs, soft volume for sleeping and the star has a soft light that dims nicely as it sings. great bear!

I bought this 4 months ago when I first had my daughter. She loves this toy. Has so many songs, pretty cute and so easy for her to grab. She’s 5 months old and still always wants it with her. I highly recommend this musical toy!
