Eparé Table Wine Aerator - Decanter Set for Bottle or Glass - White or Red

We could not believe the poor quality and product oversight on this item. We have bought and use a variety of "manual" pour type aerators with great success, and thought that this would be a perfect addition. Instead, we had an extremely frustrating experience when we bought and returned this item twice. The first time we received an obviously used product (wine reminents still in base of unit) and missing a rod. The second time the product did not work. We cannot believe the lack of quality control which needs to be corrected immediately.

We really like this gadget. It does seem to make a difference in the way the tastes and I like the fact that the unit has aerators for both a glass and a bottle. I would recommend the glass aerator for more effect.

I like this product, however I'm very new to the world wine; it does enhance taste of reds I enjoy.

Brilliant little gadget, why is it so hard to source in the UK??

Over the years we have explored our wine tastes, and have learned to appreciate a good aeration. sometime though... especially at the end of a looooong week, it is very hard to wait for that first sip. That is where these aerators come in so magically handy; in bottle or in glass, a gentle aeration goes a long way to lifting one's spirit properly!This unit from Epare is very interesting looking and very effective. The process was easy; wash gently, rinse, pop in two AAA batteries (not included), put in the proper rod and Go... with the timer allowing each vibrating aeration run of 30 seconds to occur. So far we have used it with three bottles (cabernet, rioja and a zinfandel) with great success, using it in-bottle twice and in glass with the zin. Think that we preferred the in-bottle result, allowing the timer to do its thing twice with the rioja (about 60 seconds) and three times with the older cab, but maybe we were just in a bit of a rush once it was already poured and only cycled it through once in the glass.This Epare aerator and stand are nice looking and seem right at home standing on our sideboard under the wine rack.
