Amazing Studio Monitor under 15k INR
Bought it after much review, comparison, and sound tests. Those who know how active studio monitor speaker are different from usual consumer speaker, would appreciate its quite flat response - plays near actual sound reproduction.BT connection is stable, easy to pair, no sound distortion, except a slight hiss at higher vol, but could be electronic noise.Comes with 3.5mm to RCA cable, 3.5mm to 3.5mm stereo cable, SPDIF optical cable, remote with button cell, left speaker connector cable, and power cable. So whole package is ready for use.My remote wasn't working when received but turned out battery had gone dead. 40/- INR CR2025 solved that.Bass and Treble controls are responsive, adds quite an effect on both sides of 0/flat. I found setting at 11am for Bass and 01pm for Treble goes with my hearing sensitivity and most choices of music. Your preferred settings may differ. Obviously, quality of recording, player device & DSP, etc. will play a huge role on your outcome. When connecting to source, putting source volume lower and using speaker volume to control loudness gives quite distortion free sound at quite loud settings. It does get really loud for my 3BHK apartment, so don't be fooled by small speaker size.If you want bit better response and reproduction, can try R2000DB or S2000DB.Edifier range is quite impressive for package, sound quality and price. Quality of build and packaging are good.Quite happy with purchase.

Felt in Love the moment I heard !!!
---------SPECTACULAR & OUTSDANDING-------Update - Published a new video on how to connect Subwoofer on my youtube channel "Curator Cast"Those two above word are enough to describe them. And kudos to Amazon and seller for a lightning deal.Spoiler Alert - If you are a BassHead simply don't bother(But if have sufficient budget then keep reading will describe further)If you are a lover of clean music on warmer and lively side just go for it or 1700Bt models. Now I have also uploaded a video on Youtube channel -"CURATOR CAST" so if you want to hear them and know more about them please go ahead and watch the video.Pros-1-Loud enough for 10ft*20ft room , but won't be sufficient for a party 'mahool' where there is lot of noise. Keep reading solution is there :)2- Sounds Sweet and pleasant. If you want to test their true nature check out the - ACOUSTIC THROWBACK playlist on Spotify. These top when played Acoustic songs like Album Covers, or MTV unplugged kind of songs and will obviously struggle when played EDM. But not until volume crosses 80 percent.3- Build is rock solid as per expensive speaker grade and looks are clean and minimalistic.4-Remote control just works. I am not going to complain about it being light or cheap or whatever. It just does what its meant to do which is volume control, AUX/PC/Bluetooth/Optical mode switch and song play, pause and next, turn off, and mute.5- Has abundance of modes for input including AUX cable, Bluetooth and Optical which gives plenty of options.6- Has Subwoofer output(you need to purchase one) which is kind of rare in this beginner Audiophile/Monitoring speaker niche. So yes now bassheads can not only get quality sound output but also attach extra subwoofer and enjoy BASS.7- Has Bass ,Treble and Volume control knobs so you can modify according to your taste.8- Are heavy so not only helps in Stabilisation at high volume but also gives a confidence of built quality.9- Just trust me on these they look great on a computer table!!I just you take a break and go watch the video on Youtube-Curator Cast to get a feel of everything I said above.Cons-1- PRICEY !! considering there are many speakers who can give 85% if not 90% of value what these can deliver.2- Distorts after 80 % volume but only if Bass is set to full. Which is something its not meant to deliver as its meant to have natural audio.3- If you want this model then obviously you wish to be future proof with respect to adding Subwoofer. So the effective price will cross 24k. But I am sure thats worth it to many.So if you are not interested in adding subwoofer save your money and buy the 1700BT model. They are almost similar considering 1850 have 70 W RMS and those have 66 W.Now for more info and queries drop a comment on my Youtube video. I would be happy to provide any support.

Long-term review - Great bookshelf speakers - Edifier 1850db
Bought this excellent set of high quality speakers on Amazon at a price of 13k during a sale season (lightning + 10% bank card deal) sale price at the time being around 16k+. I had researched comprehensively online before i made this purchase as i was looking for an affordable high quality speakers to add-on to my existing Creative Cambridge soundworks 2.1 speakers (15+yrs old - still works like a charm after a chip replacement). My first near-field experience when I bought & tested this speakers was magical out of this world. The audio generated is clean, tight and an upgrade of 20-30% pure sound clarity over my creative Cambridge ones. Do not expect a ground shaking theater experience with these small giants as they're for built for daily quality music/audiophile listeners on budget. People who like bassy boom will be definitely disappointed for the lack of it as it produces balanced clear bass for your casual/daily listening needs. After using it for more than 1 month I definitely felt the need for that additional bass to elevate the music experience as I listen to all genres of music. So I added in an active sub-woofer Polk PSW10 (10 inch sub) for the purposes via "sub-out" and now I am in LOVE with both setup together. PC>optical cable>Edifier speakers>3.5mm jack to RCA Y split (male)> Polk subwoofer.Volume level notesI live in a busy street so there is always some sort of disturbance even when windows are closed so I end up keeping the volume above 70% most of the time. But during silent nights 50% volume would suffice for a room sized of 10x20 ft for a good experience. Music played via Bluetooth seems 5-10% higher. These speakers produce different volume levels based on the source quality of the audio thereby you'll not have consistent audio experiences. FLACs, HQs, WAVs, 24bits are best formats to listen with these speakers which is SIMPLY MAGICAL but MP3s or youtube, soundcloud, gaana stream listening will feel fairly balanced. Movie watching with these speakers via Prime, Netflix, jiocinema, etc will definitely make you feel the need for higher vocal volumes.ProsHigh quality and solid buildAmazing sound clarityMulti connectivity - Bluetooth, 3.5 to RCA line-in, Optical, Aux, Coax, Sub-outSuitable for all-day listening, desktop speakers & all genre listeningRemote works well for its purposes - fragile use only, not made for a warFairly priced in India compared to buying the same at 199$ on Amazon.comCons0-50% volume range seems ridiculous for listening to anything but 60-100% range is sweet spot you'll definitely loveVolume output levels are varied based on music formatsListed as budget speakers in the US but its what is available in IndiaPriceEdifier 1850db - Rs. 13k (from Amazon.in during sale + deals)Polk PSW10 - Rs. 16k (from ProFX showroom, Bangalore - cheapest compared to online prices .i.e. 19k)Total spend is 29kFinal wordsThese speakers are best budget-to-mid set of speakers for those looking for that high-quality music experience in India. You will certainly not be disappointed with these speakers but an addition of a sub-woofer will make you feel complete. However, there are other good speaker systems within the budget of 8k-20k that you may want to check like Logitech z625, Swans M10, Swans M50W, all with subwoofers, so you dont have to spend on additionally on subwoofers OR plan and save up for a good AV receiver + non-powered speakers + subwoofers which you can buy on phases based on your affordability. No speakers are perfect but you try to make the best of what is available within in your budget n needs.
