Simple way to exercise
An easy to use method of exercising legs and arms. It doesn't have any problems in being used as you watch TV, work at a desk or just reading a book or magazine.Money well spent.

Shorts pedals good
Couldn't get my damaged knee to go over top dead centre with my normal exercise bike but this apparatus has shorter pedals which solves that issue. If it moves about when in use, just place it against a wall. Sorted.

Brilliant little exerciser
The media could not be loaded. I have a large, very heavy, exercise bike, which is great - but it’s in another room from the one I like to sit in with my dogs, and I always feel it’s a waste of time sitting on it (alone), pedalling away when I could be out on a real bike, or doing other things whilst pedalling….which is one of the reasons I had given up exercising! But following an accident to my leg in April 18, which virtually immobilised me for 5-6 months, I’ve piled on weight and felt I should do something about it.Also my legs were raised for most of that time to aid healing, and the muscles have wasted somewhat. I spend far too much time on my butt (even before the injury), watching TV, legs up on a coffee table, with my laptop in situ (i.e. on my lap!!). As a result I have put on unwanted weight. I’m not really into serious pedalling these days, but I thought I might be more incentivised with this mini exerciser, and that it would spur me on to exercise more - because I can still sit on the sofa with my laptop, watching TV - and pedalling at the same time, without consciously thinking about it, or realising that I am working my body! It’s always encouraging to see how many calories I have burned - without making too much effort. The exerciser is small and light, taking up very little space, meaning I don’t need to fold it up and put it away after use. Also, because it’s the first thing I see in the mornings, when I come downstairs, it’s less easy to forget to use it - and I can do so whilst supping my first cup of tea, and breakfasting. It sets me up for the day by releasing endorphins, keeping my heart ticking over nicely, and raising my pulse (which has always been low) to a healthy level without making me too breathless. There is a tension knob to adjust the resistance, so the tension can be increased gradually over time to make exercise tougher, make the body work harder, and boost circulation. I hadn’t ever seen a mini exerciser like this before, and I certainly hadn’t seen an arm exerciser. This was the main reason I bought it - because I have always been embarrassed about my ‘bat wings’. To exercise my arms, I just lift the exerciser from the floor, and place it on the same table that I usually rest my legs on, because it’s at just about the right height. The non-slip feet prevent it from moving as my arms move in forward circles and, although I can’t use my laptop at the same time, I can of course continue to watch TV.Beware, though, if you buy this as a present/surprise - because it is delivered in its own box - which is a giveaway!

Good quality
I bought this to help my husband exercise gently after a hip operation, it works well, the only negative is that the resistance setting is not enough.

Don't buy this item
I've had this for 15mins and the counter has stopped working already. It has power but it isn't counting any rotations or time. The resistance is also non existent it is just a screw not attached to anything that would increase the tension at all.
