Surprisingly good .
I bought this after watching Nadia Hussain go on about this on roast potatoes. Still haven't used it for that, but it adds a nice spice to things and my other half loves it. As a spice wimp it is OK in small quantities for me. I would buy it again.

I like the taste of Tamarind and it's a great addition. Sometimes however, the tamarind paste colours the food too much - it is the colour of Bovril so if you don't want everything to look so dark, this is a good option. It's also great for drizzling on meals. A good discovery.
