I did like Yeti. But in recent years they have become very overpriced, and even worse, trendy.I wanted a cool box for taking meal preps to work for the week. I think I should have gone a size up, this will take about three or four sensible sized tupperwears if you take the tray out of the top. But the size is convenient, so I'm actually pretty content with it.Now it's gotten a little dirty and beaten up, it has a nice retro character to it. It suits me nicely, does the job, didn't cost much money, and I don't look like a fashion victim.Very happy with this, highly recommended.

Love this thing, use it for my lunch daily, fits a large lunch box and a few cans or bottles of water.I use ice blocks rather than ice cubes and it does keep cool in the back of a van with closed doors even in this recent heatwave, how ever keep it out of sunlight and open the van / car doors to allow a vent and it will stay much cooler.Only annoying bit is the white top container doesn’t fit regular sized cutlery

I’ve had a few lunch boxes including the retro Stanley box which was way too small for someone working in the construction trade every day and those cheap amazon Chinese made cool bags which just flop and crease within 3 months. This is the best lunch box I have had so far, solidly built and big enough to keep a good supply of food and drink in to last a full day. You get what you pay for and I have a feeling this will last a while over the others. Looks cool too.

Really pleased with our Engel cooler. I needed a cooler that would hold its temperature for 24/36 hours. The cooler performs really well if you pre cool it first.Cooling the box over night with ice before adding the bits you want to transport and either ice or gel ice packs does keep everything lovely and cold for up to 36 hours which is what we wanted.We also love the look of the cooler which is finished in Grassland. It’s slightly vintage looking and works well in the environments we have used it in.I think the test of most items is the comments you get from others and the Engel cooler has definitely has some positive responses from friends.In short, it’s a great cooler on many levels and we highly recommend you consider one.Or if you prefer, you could buy a massively over priced Yeti cooler which won’t do anything this cooler already does.The choice is yours!

Well made and looks good. Ideal size for my needs. I was happy to pay a little more for quality.

I tested this as soon as I received it. I bought it for 3 day camping trios we regularly take. I have insulin to keep cool and we wanted it for milk and our BBQ meats. As it says it keep things cold for up to 48 hours I guessed it would be temperate for the remaining day which would be fine. I put an icepack in over night. I placed it in at about 5pm. By 10am the next morning it was completely melted and putting my hand in rhe box it didn't feel at all 'cool'. I figured maybe it needs to be cooled first to work well so I put another freezer block in. It was melted in less than 6 hours. It wasn't even that warm outside the box. Around 23°C.I bought this product based on the reviews. I can only presume people are packing the lunch at like 8 am and eating it at midday. Basically it probably keeps cool for around 4 hours. Given its price I'm massively disapointed. My kids soft lunch box can do that.
