Every book my daughter enjoyed so much, I know my granddaughter will love them, too. Each book explores an emotion or feeling in a wonderful child-like perspective. This collection also contains new books that were not around when my daughter was young.

I was able to share a bit of my childhood with my child.

I was so excited to find the complete set of these books. I had a few from my childhood that my daughter started reading so I went looking for the sets. My daughter was so excited when I gave them to her and has been reading one every night. I like that they are numbered so they can be kept in order and the box is nice and sturdy so they'll have a better chance of not getting damaged.

I found a few Mr. Men books in Poland and I remembered loving them as a child. As a kindergartener I would ponder the meaning of these quirky little stories (they aren't preachy, but they DO make you think...) Turns out my 3-year-old daughter loved them, too. I've never heard so many "Why?"s come out of her mouth in a single story. So, I purchased the entire Little Miss collection for her 4th birthday. We read all the books in two weeks and will keep them in our rotation! My kiddo connects with these stories so much that after one read, she can remember who's who by looking at the cover (I have to read the names to remember, and she can only read a few words right now). Worth every penny in content, and also a great value from the "if purchased separately" perspective (36 x $5= $180.) I also like that the books are numbered and create text when in the correct order. Every kid needs to learn how to put things in order!! Only one minor complain from me (which may be a plus for you): I think there are some wording differences between the American and British editions, and I would've preferred the American ones, even though the British ones are the originals.

I used to read them in French when I was a child. My child enjoyed to read them in English. Got the both collections (Mr Men and Little Miss) for a very good price. My child became addict of reading with these books. Stories are nice, not too long and not too short. Drawings are simple but children love them. Happy that since these books, my child started and still now, reads one hour a day.

Great books! Adorable “library.” My English students love them!!! My personal opinion is that the reading level is higher than listed. I believe it said for ages 3-7. That’s perhaps true as far as the storyline is concerned, but if the children are actually doing the reading, the reading level itself must be more for 10-year-olds. My 7-year-old students find themselves struggling with words like “amused”, “prodded”, “incidentally”, and “particularly”. However, they agree that it’s worth the struggle because they love the storylines. I should add that the children I work with are ESL students so perhaps for a native speaker, these books are perfect for the listed age range. It takes my kids 30-40 minutes - with help - to read one book.

I love these collections. Expensive yes but you get a lot of books!!! Arrived in great shape brand new can't complain :) I bought them three years ago and have held up well, my daughter did however sit on the lid to the little miss ones lol but it's alright they're just cardboard so i would keep them away from little ones
