I bought this for my 6 year old at the time. She loves playing in slime and I got tired of buying it for her and thought it would be a great arts and craft moment for her to have at home. Little did I know that her brother would like to join and it was a hit. Next thing you know we check to see if there was enough product to make 5 different slime (and it did) and the whole family got to the table and enjoyed making slime together that day. The kit had glitter, glue, activator, spoons to mix, and so much more. All I literally had to do is just bring myself to the table and use what was in the box.

Great value for the money.

I purchased this slime kit and was reimbursed by the seller for writing a review after testing the kit. It worked out well because my son had been bugging me for a while to make our own.The packaging was a bit disappointing- cardboard box with everything packed inside, but the amount of things you got were well worth the price and amount of time they have been using it already. We ended up making 10 different kinds of slime with the glue included in the kit. We also made 2 more by supplementing with our own clear glue.The kids loved choosing their own to mix, and my only complaint was that there was only one mixing bowl included with the kit.There were options for glow in the dark slime, 2 different colors of color changing slime, 2 pearl colors for shiny slime, 6 different colors of glitter, dye to color them, instant snow for fluffy cloud slime, and clay to make fluffy slime. The kit also included 4 stirring spoons, 2 measuring cups, popsicle sticks for mixing, and storage containers for up to 9 batches of slime.It also was slime that only uses glue and laundry detergent (both included), so it smelled fresh and clean, and washed off of surfaces fairly easily. It really was a fun afternoon, and the kids are still playing with it almost 4 hours after we started. It is rainy out, so it was a great project for the day!Overall, not a super big hassle. My 9 year old made hers by herself, I only helped my 7 year old measure ingredients, and my 3.5 year old mixed and added the fun elements. It really wasn't terrible.... this is coming from the parent that hates the mess after PlayDoh. And, for the time they have been occupied and not on screens... it was totally worth it!

The 7- year old in the house claims to be an "expert slime maker". Which i agree with 100% you can give her the basic ingredients; glue, baking soda, and saline and without measuring come up with the perfect slime EVERY TIME! So when I seen this kit I had to buy it. when it first came in the mail she was so excited to try it, the presentation and multiple containers made it very appealing. Here is the problem: this slime kit only makes STICKY slime, no matter how much detergent you use. she ended up giving up on the instructions and making it "her way" but using all of the fun extras (glue, glitter, clay, and dyes) we threw out the detergent and let her do it with saline.She had fun and I think its a great gift but definitely not a "beginner" slime making kit.

I have two slime connoisseurs, age 7 and 10. I have purchased numerous slime kits or ingredients over the last couple years. It's a difficult thing to compare online. The verdict... this is the best slime kit they've ever received. Why... it's a good kit for 2 kids to share. There are 2 separate bottles of white glue and 2 of clear glue so no arguments over who used more. It comes with an even number of storage containers and 2 measuring cups, too. It has every ingredient they seek, snow, clay, pigments, glitter, glow in the dark and color changing, etc. Other kits didn't have the full array. One exception, Scents. Another kit had liquid scents to add and this one didn't, but that's the only thing. This kit arrives in a brown corrugated box vs. A plastic bucket with handle like other kits, but it turns out that once they make it the storage containers aren't as important or enough of a plus for the other kits. Recipes/instructions: They recipes they did follow turned out well, but they also did a lot of create your own, so I can't speak to all the recipe accuracy. The dyes mix in well and don't come off on their hands as they play with the slimes. In summary, Out of 4 kits we tried (slime kit for girls, stationary, and 1 other) this was the least expensive and best liked. When asked to compare them all, they say this is the best. If you have extra glue and detergent, this kit has enough fun additives to extend it even further. 5 stars for this kit.

If you have a bored 5+ year old, they will have SO MUCH FUN WITH THIS! I got it for my nephew over summer break, we spread out newspaper and each mixed up our first bowl/batch, by the time we finished the first ones he said nicely “could you not make anymore and let me make them?”

The food coloring, glitter and extras are wonderful. Love the all in one kit. Excellent idea. Making the slime following the directions didn’t go as well, we had to add so much extra detergent we may get 3 different slime creations out of it and it was still not easy to knead. Not sure if we got a bad batch but the idea of the whole kit is great, the results were not very fun.
