Labnique Polystyrene Petri Dish with Vented Lid, 90mm, Sterile (20)

These are the standard dish that vents well and does the job you want them to do.

These are not sterile because the plastic wrap has tiny holes in it. They also aren’t heat resistant enough to allow them to be autoclaved and sterilized so they are completely useless if you need sterile plates.

I've bought these petri dishes in particular several times thus far as they seem to be a good deal, and of decent quality.

I accepted broken plates as a loss but every plate was contaminated. Same agar used with 2 different brand of plates. Everyone of these were contaminated.

I lightly squeezed the package and air was escaping that tells me these are not sterile also had a few with some cracks in them. The point of disposable petri dishes is so you don't have to autoclave them so these are completely useless now. I don't want to waste my time and money with contaminated cultures.
