Solid construction but not perfect
Pros: Simple On/Off toggle switches, smooth bowl interior that’s easy to get all food out with spatula, all attachments stack inside for storage. Cons: pusher (?) is shaped so that it can fit in chute only one way - not convenient when your quickly inserting food into chute to shred and you grab pusher the wrong way. Pusher comes in 2 parts, including one that fits in center hole for carrots. If blending liquid, you need both parts to prevent splashing up. Would be nice to have additional piece of one solid pusher that can double as measuring cup. The last thing is when you open the hinged lid, the pusher easily falls out of the shoot. The first time I went to use this food processor, I almost broke the pusher twice.

Needs some repair
This is a good tool. But the product arrived with a broken hinge for the lid. I am still able to use it, but it would have been better to receive an unbroken product. Maybe you could replace the bowl?

Quiet, user friendly and works so well!
Very quiet comparing with other brands such as Cuisinart or Ninja. It looks slow movement even High mode, but result is beautiful. I have finger issue, and had hard time to click container and lid for my old Cuisinart FF. This is user friendly for those who have weak grip.

Powerful food processor with a side benefit of fun
This was a great purchase. I decided to upgrade my kitchen appliances and this was one of the first things I got. The KitchenAid brand is reliable, affordable and well built unlike some other brands that I’ve used in the past. They also offer their small kitchen appliances in a selection of standard colors so you can easily get them to match even if it takes some time to collect the ones you need. I liked that it has a nice size base with a decent amount of weight to make it sturdy but not too heavy to make it a pain to move from the cabinet to prep area. The non slip grips on the feet are nice when you get slicing hard carrots at jet engine speeds! The 7 cup capacity is perfect for us. I was worried it might be too small but it’s perfect. It can accommodate several ingredients without having to empty it halfway through. Snap the base into place, make sure the spinning blade (or 2 sided slicing disk) is set to what size you need. Then feed the veggies through the pour top with safety plunger and in seconds you have a side dish. I stopped buying shredded or precut foods because it is cheaper to buy bulk and run it through the processor. It takes more time to slice a brick of cheese into pieces than will fit, than it does to actually shred the block. I love having fast and affordable taco night shredded cheese that doesn’t have any weird coating to prevent sticking and preserve it. Plus it’s a lot more fun than I expected. Something about it brought out the kid in me when I first used it and let’s be honest, we could all use a little bit more fun in our day to day lives. The only con I can really think of is only applicable if you never used a food processor: wash it immediately or you will regret it. (That’s more of a basic food thing, not a con for KitchenAid) Some hot water, drop of soap and turn it to medium for a bit and it gets most of the mess out. Overall I would recommend getting it. As a matter of fact, I often find myself thinking of recipes that I can make just to shred some stuff at high speed.

Disappointing
I bought this to replace my older model (and much better) KitchenAid food processor gifted to me many years ago. The top was a bit warped and so it didn't close well and I had a harder time opening it after using. For those who remember how this used to work, unless the top is locked into place, you can't start the machine and you need to unlock it from the base. Very safe, but having a warped top means the chances of the machine not working are inflated. Plus the extension rod bent or something so the grating discs no longer worked. I could pretty much only chop with it (this is important in a minute.) Since I never liked the fact I had to store all the accessories separately, and since I really don't need a 13c food processor anymore, I went with this one. I love how everything stores inside the bowl. Unfortunately, this thing is a piece of junk. It has no power. It's really only good for chopping (and I have a 13c machine in the basement that does that.) Whenever I try to use the shredding disc, it stops working and I end up chopping my ingredient -- usually cheese. Also the feeder tube has too big of a gap between the bottom of the tube and the disc. If whatever you are shredding is smaller than the tube, it falls right into the gap rendering the whole thing useless. My Mom has an early Cuisinart food processor. I remember her using it when I was a kid in the 80s. I was over her house the other day and not only does she still have it, it works great! The bowl is so scratched you can't see through it (and it's a weird tint color anyway) but it's powerful enough to grate even the softest cheese without having to freeze it first (a trick I learned with my old KitchenAid -- freeze for 20 minutes to stiffen the cheese and it grates easier) and it chops nuts like a pro. I think I'll hit the thrift shops and look for one. As for this piece of junk, into the basement it goes. Right next to the 13c. /sigh Update 3/20/22: Threw it away today. The pusher thing got stuck and I can’t get it out of the tunnel. Now it’s worthless. Save your money and DO NOT BUY!!

Excellent achat !!

Great product and easy to use. As a side note. If you just want it to do slicing, and not full crushing, remember to remove the bottom blade before using it. Great for slicing up radishes and cucumbers for salad.
