Perfect for travel
I've had this travel pillow for plane trips for over ten years and I just bought a new replacement (not because there's actually anything wrong with the old one but just because the carry case was getting too worn out! I'm afraid the strap is going to break and the pillow will go rolling away somewhere). The old pillow itself is still going strong, although you cannot compare the firmness of the old and the new one I just received - the new one is very firm and the old one is very soft. I'm not sure which I prefer yet as I haven't used the new on on a plane yet so looking forward to breaking it in soon. The old one traveled everyone around the world with me, helping make sitting in airline seats just a little more bearable. I highly recommend it, based on years of experience. You just roll it up and I use a carabiner that I bought separately to attach it to my travel backpack, so it's always at the ready.I'm very happy to see that they are still making it, as sometimes you love something and you go to replace it and it's been discontinued. Glad I bought this one. Funny thing, I paid about the same price then as I did for the new one, so the price hasn't gone up over time. It was more of an investment back in the day, but today it's money well spent. I justified the original purchase to myself when I flew first class on the first leg of a flight but was downgraded to a coach seat on the return... and thought of how I was going to make the ride as comfortable as possible? I discovered this pillow at an airport store and it did the trick. I still use it for almost every flight I take.UPDATE: Downside for the new product is that it's a little hard, so little bit of a challenge to get back into the carrying case but I hope that it will soften up over time. That's my only complaint. Otherwise, works great!

Good for traveling
Good for travel. I have chronic neck pain, this pillow is really good when you are traveling. It is easy to take with you.

When you can’t pack your full size pillow this one is an ok option
This pillow traveled to Australia with me. It packed up pretty small so was easy to toss in my suitcase. Granted it’s not exactly like a full size Tempurpedic pillow but it definitely saved my neck while traveling.

Compact for travel. Quite firm.
I use my regular size Temper-Pedic pillow every night. I wanted to get the travel size to take with me on a trip abroad. In the first pic, I have it inside of the bag and in the second pic, you can see the size compared to my regular pillow. It is light weight, a good size, and fit nicely inside of my backpack. But I found this new pillow to be firmer than what I like, so much so that my ear started hurting during the night. I never used it more than half a night as a result. I have had my old, regular size pillow for several years and I think that it has softened over the years. I have a vague memory of it being too firm in the beginning. I'm going to keep this travel one and try to figure out a way to soften it because it is exactly what I want in every other way.

Very comfortable and well made
I just received mine yesterday, 23 May 2024, and used it for the first time last night. GREAT support for your neck and I really slept well versus a conventional pillow. I also noticed I didn't have the usual neck pain this morning. I love it. I also like the zippered case that comes with it for travel. It feels like it may be water repellant. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Too hard
I like a solid pillow, but this one is way too hard.

Firm, full size depth pillow
I have a king-sized, Tempur-Pedic neck pillow. It is large, firm, and has been a life saver for my arthritic neck. I get neck pain that manifests into a migraine headache if I don't sleep with my king-sized neck pillow. This made traveling a hassle. However, this travel pillow is the same depth, height, and firmness as the king-sized pillow! It's just a lot more narrow (maybe 1/3 as wide as the king-sized version). It gets the job gone. I can travel with the same contoured neck pillow with 1/3 the bulk of my king-sized pillow. I wish I would have purchased this 10 years ago.

Very uncomfortable.. Not the same memory foam as the full size tempur pillow
I love my full size tempur pillow and have been using it for years. I bought this one to take with me on a trip for a month. The memory foam is super hard and feels like a lot cheaper quality than the full size. My head didn’t sink in or meld to the pillow at all because the memory foam was so stiff. I could only used it one night because I woke up the next morning with a sore and stiff neck. I ended up sleeping much better on the basic cotton pillows at my Airbnb. It’s disappointing that this crappy quality memory foam is being sold under the tempur name at a premium price. It’s being marketed as if it’s the same pillow as the full size but just smaller. It’s definitely not. Don’t waste your time and money buying this.
